Staff are friendly and helpful, they sorted us out with supplies and a map, as well as a good idea of where to go to make the most of our time in Montreal.
We did this tour on our first day in Montreal. The bikes and helmets were in decent condition. We started our ride along the canal, then rode into the city up to Mont Royale. The canal is an easy ride and there is quite a bit of bike traffic along it. Riding in the city is facilitated by the bike lanes that physically separate bikers from traffic. I would encourage the bike shop to produce biking maps that guide bikers on specific routes through the city. Since it was our first day in Montreal, we did not have a good feel for the city, so more detailed bike maps would have been useful.
Had a wonderful time. Easy check in and return. Enjoyed wandering around the islands. One concern is the very narrow mile long bridge. Only just wide enough for 2 bikes to pass. We were run into the concrete wall by another biker that did not stay to her side. Perhaps a little warning on the map would be in order. If we come to Montreal again, we will again rent the bikes.
Was the highlight of our time in Montreal. Views are rubbish but a great track
