Tour was Ok

The tour was a nice overview of the city, but I had a hard time following some of the things the guide talked about. He would mention some things would be on the map, but that those would be handed out at the end. Would have been nice to have those during the trip, so I could follow along with things being mentioned. Also, trip was described as being 3 1/2 hours long, but we started heading back with still an hour left. Would have been nice to be able to either get out at more places, as most of the things we saw we only drove by, so I ended up retracing some of the tour myself after we got back.

Fun and informative

Wow, what a day!! The weather was very challenging and that made this tour even better. It snowed a lot all day and was the storm of the year but that didn't stop our guide and driver!! Loved it! Very informative without being boring. The interaction between guide and driver made it fun too. Only wish we had more time at the food and basilica stop. You couldn't do both so I missed out on a bagel.

Montreal Bus Tour

The biggest highlight of a 48 hour trip was the bus tour; especially the absolutely hilariously clever presentation of the Tour Guide (Mr. Swan). Fascinating and well paced; lots of great info! Well worth the dough!

Journey around Montreal

Good tour, humorous tour guide. That is, until the bus driver slammed on his brakes, and the tour guide went flying and fell down the bus steps with a gash on his head. Good replacement too.

Great tour guide, poor logistics

The tour guide was excellent — very knowledgeable, friendly and kept my interest despite the length. Logistically, they could drastically improve things. I had to call several times to confirm that they were picking us up, despite leaving several messages. Then, they were 15 mins late. Then, they brought us to the ticket center but did not tell us anything. We were just following the crowd. Then they shuffled us onto another bus, but then were offended that we didn’t have tickets, so shooed us back inside to go get tickets even though we had the Viator tickets. Apparently we had to convert them to some antiquated paper receipt. As I mentioned above, the tour guide was informative, but it was really hard to see much on the bus. And the tour was very long. We stopped a few times for a few minutes so we could get off the bus and take a quick pic, but this style of touring is not my cup of tea. I would have preferred if the guide sat us in a classroom and showed us slides and a map, as we probably would have seen more that way. Overall, the cost and the guide were great, but the rest was subpar.

Wonderful tour, informative and pleasant

The guide was very informative and the place is gorgeous. We did it under a light snow fall and with plenty of snow on the ground already. The Christmas decorations added beauty. All together a very memorable experience.

Bad weather reduced the fun

The bad weather, which was of course not made by greyhound or viator, reduced the fun a lot. At some places it was not possible too see anything.

Very pleasent and informative guide and driver. He was fun and made the visit very enjoyable. We learnt many things about the city including insider's information from a person that lived there for a long time. The driver was awesome and made all he could to drop us off at our hotel for an urgent personal committment. All was perfect. Congratulations!!

Too Much Talk and Traffic
momero
, Nov 2019
Our tour director was Swan and the driver was The Captain. Everything started out fine, although I was surprised by the large size of our group. This tour was on Sunday, October 13 which was part of a holiday weekend (which we didn't know) We would be told we would see something and then we would have to go another way due to traffic. Swan tried his best to stick to the plan, but traffic was bad. Then the "wheels fell off the bus" so to speak when Swan let The Captain take over the sightseeing duties. He told awful jokes, which he proceeded to guffaw and at and the apologize. I couldn't wait for the tour to end! I wish I had invested in a smaller tour group.
