Great tour guide. Jean told us lots of funny and interesting things about Montreal. He handled the bus perfectly during an awesome thunderstorm. He had many insights. We kept saying during our trip, "Remember, the bus driver said . . . " It was a wonderful introduction to Montreal.

The sound system needs improvement clarity.

Good value for money. Guides were knowledgeable and amusing. Always a good way to get to know the main attractions - and then visit them later.

This tour was a good way to see the city - at one's own pace. Narration was instructive and entertaining. Would have been helpful to have more advance info as to: route, specific stops, time factor, etc. A map was provided on the bus, but driver deviated route from printed map and getting back on a later bus at a different location than where dropped off was tricky. Info provided for cruise ship passengers re initial pick up point/time was not totally accurate, contributing to some frustration and anxiety. Better coordination with Grayline-Montreal might be helpful. This is the first Viator-booked tour I have not been 100 satisfied with.

I signed up on line, printed the receipt at the hotel, and the driver would not take it. We had to walk to stop 2 for our tour bracelets. The guide was hard to understand. The tour was ok but not full of interesting info. The best stop was St. Joseph Oratory--definitely not to be missed!

The buses are really old. They should upgrade the buses like Quebec City. :(

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better October 2017

There just not much to see...and operationally they seem slow...you feel like you should do it because you should see the city, but to be honest there just isn't much to see. Better wandering the old quarter and the waterfront and chilling out!

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better November 2013

Two ships were in port ,therefore there were too many people waiting. There should have been two buses when that many ships are in town. We bought a 1 day pass, but the people buying them that day were getting 2 days for the price of one day. We had been there the day before ,but Viatour did not offer that.

1 star rating: I do not recommend this October 2013

We went to the pier where our voucher said to go (the next one up from Iberville) and waited by the sign that said the bus came by every half hour. After a half hour we saw the bus turning two blocks away down by old town and followed it to Place Royale (right next to our ship!) where they expressed complete surprise because the place we went they hadn't been to in a long time -- who knew? The tour was OK, but nothing special. Next time we'll just use the local folks and not someone who isn't even there. There were four others waiting with us who made the same "mistake" and none of us will use you again.
