    When we booked the Secret Food Tour we really didn't know what to expect however needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! April, our Tour guide, was great! She was funny, insightful and did a great job taking us through all of the food experiences...which were tasty! We would highly recommend it as an activity to do while in Montreal.

    Our guide April was absolutely lovely! She was knowledgeable, fun and a joy to meet. We tried several different foods, and she was able to give us the history of the neighborhood we explored. My friends and I would absolutely choose to take this tour again, and you should too!

    Our guide Eric was terrific. Friendly, fun, informative. The food choices were excellent! We visited many interesting spots along Mile End. Eric pointed out interesting shops and restaurants. A true insider's tour!

    Eric was very welcoming to the arrival of my family . As a group Eric got us all connected with the initial personal introductory . His kind demeanor and knowledge about the city and food made it a very pleasurable excursion for my family. We were 100% satisfied with Eric as our tour guide . Food was great, but the family was hoping for a smoked meat sandwich to be part of the menu as it was illustrated in some of the previous reviews.

    I took the tour with April Ortiz in the SFT is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.I took these tours around the world and by far this is the best one. She is fun, knowledgeable and amazing. 10/10 if you want to take this food tour in Montreal ask for her, 100% worth it.

    Our tour guide Eric was great! He helped us learn a bit about Montreal and the neighborhoods we walked through as we ate yummy foods! Alsatian tart, poutine, bagels, gnocchi, cannoli, and coffee. Everything was delicious! It was enough for lunch but not too filling like some food tours can be. We had an excellent time!

    Bea was a great ambassador for Montreal! She brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the tour.- my favorite stop was for the cannoli! The added side event of the pink laundromat was a fun and funky addition. The only thing I did not care for was the poutine….there are so many better than the one this tour ended on….but highly recommend

    Our guide, April, met us outside our first stop and immediately made us all welcome and comfortable. The tour was on a Saturday morning, so most of our stops were very busy. April was organized and managed to get us all seated and fed at each stop! She was obviously proud of the area and its attractions and was able to fill us in on the history of the Mile End area and of the businesses. April made sure to spend time with each of the groups on the tour and offer suggestions for further dining and activities depending on where we were staying. The whole tour was what my husband and I like about food tours, not just the food, but learning about a specific area.

    April was a fab tour guide. She took the pace of it perfectly making sure the whole group was looked after and explained the history behind the food which made it so much more interesting than just a sampling tour. All the food was amazing. However I would recommend the last stop be changed as it was not an authentic poutin and everyone left it uneaten as it was soggy and did not taste good dripping in some sour bbq sauce.

    Our guide, April Ortiz, was fantastic and meeting her was the best part of the tour. It was also nice to see and experience a part of Montréal that we'd probably not see. I'd suggest updating the Viator app in regards to the tour description and the requirements of bringing your passport, vaccination records and wearing a mask.

    What an amazing tour! Eric was so friendly, accommodating, and well organized. I like how he had everyone introduce themselves, as it really broke the ice for future conversations. It was nice to connect with different people from around the world. Oh, and the food was top notch!

    Eric was a great guide and brought us to fun and authentic places to nibble at. The highlight was a totally random conversation we had with a woman picking berries in front of her beautiful house. She looked like a woman in a French painting picking berries. She chatted with Eric about the history of her house.

    Eric was an amazing tour guide! I learned so many things about Montréal - things I would have never thought to ask! The food stops were phenomenal as well - interesting tidbit is that me and my husband ate lunch about 1.5 hours prior to our food tour (yes silly of us but we were starving) so during this tour we mostly saved everything for later. Even doing so on a food tour, the experience of everything we learned and all of our spots was one we won’t forget! Thank you so much Eric for a wonderful time and all the information!
