Excellent...much better than we expected. Tony was a great guide. My husband was ill so he stayed in the vehicle so Tony took pictures of me.
We had been in Monument Valley on two previous occasions. The last time was as the View was being built. Our guided tour was fantastic! And so was our guide. She tuned right in on the things we were most interested in and proceeded to show us every thing and more. We will recommend your tour.

Our tour of Monument Valley was the highlight of our vacation! We had a beautiful day and our tour began at 1:00 PM. The morning was rather cold so we were glad that we booked an afternoon tour. It was much warmer by then. Our tour guide, Ray, was a native and had great knowledge of the Valley. The views were spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed going to areas that are not seen by anyone driving through the park in their own vehicle. We especially enjoyed seeing the arches dunes and cave areas further into the park. We had plenty of time to ask questions and stop for photos along the way. We also got to visit an area that is still inhabited by Native Americans. The tour was definitely work the money spent!
You have to see Monument Valley in the flesh to really appreciate the artistry force of mother nature. To experience it in the company of a native American Indian dose not get any better.
This is a must do tour. Definitely the best way to see MV. This tour has access to parts of MV that you can't see on your own. Our guide Tulley was very informative.
Absolutely loved it!!!! The guide was knowledgeable and the experience was truly memorable. A MUST SEE!!!
Very good and well worth the money. Of course you can drive yourself as long as it's not your car but you don't get the knowledge of
the guide. In addition by using a tour you get to see the places that non tour cars aren't allowed. The structures are amazing and you just to gaze in amazement at them. Fantastic trip

By chance, we were the only 2 on this trip. You really do go 'off-road' and it is an awesome landscape. Our guide was reasonably knowledgeable but rather weary I felt.

Awesome tour highly recommended as you see more than just driving around the tracks allowed for tourists. Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to tell us about all the towers and Navajo culture
The tour and the sights were unbelievable. Our young female guide was especially informative and was able to provide insight into the true Navajo experience as well. Definitely five star!!
It was timely, informative, fun, and not too crowded-- perfect! Kudos to our guide, John, who made it happen and was fantastic. He was funny, knowledgeable, warm, and a wonderful flute player.
I would give this tour 5 Stars. Our guide was excellent. Throughout the tour he explained what we were seeing and the history behind it. He went out of his way to create some unforgettable moments for each of us. Great knowledge of the area, none of our questions went unanswered. This tour was great. One of the best guided tours ever!
Our guide Duffy was superb - his knowledge, wit and enthusiasm kept us entertained for the full tour. We expected the views to be stunning but they surpassed our expectations. My wife and two teenage daughters were equally bowled over!
It was an excellent tour. The truck which transported us was more comfortable than I expected although there were some bumpy areas, but that was to be expected as our guide took us to many parts of the valley that were not accesible to private vehicles. Our guide was Duffy, who was extremely knowledgeable and a very good guide. We were on the 31/2 hour tour which was a bit long but well worth it.Monument Valley 's scenery was breathtaking, but I think that you need to take a tour with a guide to fully appreciate it.
Great tour! Amazing scenery. Wonderful opportunities for photos. Even had the addition of visiting a hogan which was particularly interesting.
What an amazing experience.
The weather didn't spoil the afternoon.
We had sun, wind, rain, sleet and as the tour was finishing snow!! 8degrees!!
A well deserved 5 stars! My husband and I highly recommend this tour through Monument Valley. We did the 8 am tour that took us to restricted areas that are not accessible by your own car. Areas you do not want to miss! Our tour guide was exceptional! He really knows the details of this park. We were not disappointed!!!
This was amazing tour. Toney the guide was engaging, informative and fun. We were a group of 4 2 others. He let us choose the activities that we wanted to do by mutual agreement. I think we covered so much terrain in the time we had yet still had the peaceful moments at certain locations spending extra time and not rushing when needed. Overall, time very well spent and a memorable experiece.
Tony led our tour and did a great job. He was very informative, humorous, thorough and responsive to the requests of the people on the tour. If you are taking the back country tour I would highly recommend this company. If you are lucky, you will get Tony as your guide
What an amazing tour! Totally humbling. Toney our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Valley . Took his time explaining the history and culture of the area
This was an excellent tour. The Navajo guide was terrific. We went on the 90 tour which included a tour of a hogan where a weaver was working and, at another stop, our guide played his flute. These experiences were worth the increased price. I think having a guided tour is the way to go. Otherwise, you might as well just look at pictures of the buttes in a book! I also would not recommend driving your own vehicle through the park...the road is awfully poor.
Don't skip this tour!
We did this wonderful 2.5 hour tour yesterday and it was a highlight of our 30 day RV trip. Toney did a fantastic job explaining everything about the mesa's and spirals, to the way they spin wool and dye it, to the pictographs and petroglyphs and much more. He is a very wise man that we were fortunate to meet. The tour was absolutely eye opening and heartwarming. We loved every minute of it. He stopped at all the best photo ops and even helped with camera/phone set up. The horses running free in the back country were fun to watch and the views are amazing. DO NOT waste your time driving this yourself - you are kidding yourself if you think you know what you are doing. You really need to let these people drive you and make you understand what you are looking at. This is a very sacred place and should be treated with respect.
My husband and I have wanted to tour Monument Valley for a number of years and this tour met all our hopes and expectations. Our guide Tonie was very good. He answered our many questions and shared many stories of life in the valley. We can highly recommend this tour and it was well worth the cost.
