The success of any tour is the presentation by the Guide. You did your Company proud by sending Victoria to be our Guide. We had a wonderful time and saw the things that really gave us a good insight into what Moscow has to offer for Travellers. That is why we have marked it as a five star. We hope you will post our comments back to her, as well.
We had an absolutely wonderful 8-hour tour with our delightful guide, Gelena! She understood perfectly that we wanted to see as much as possible, but not to be rushed. She gave us must-see and nice-to-see options as we went along, and we took our time as she expertly explained the best sights of Moscow and it's history, We believe that an 8-hour tour avoids a feeling of being rushed, and also allowed time for photos, some shopping, lunch, and tea. While this was a walking tour, we used the Moscow subway to get around, and it was an experience in itself, especially it's efficiency and beautiful 1930's stations. We look forward to another visit our Russian visa is good for three years, perhaps next time to St Petersburg.
My tour was great! I had a fabulous time with a knowledgeable tour guide who did not overwhelm me with too much information. She was flexible and friendly and tailored the guide to my specific needs. Thanks for a splendid time!
This customizable tour is really like three tours in one. The tour company was in contact with us before hand to get an idea of what we wanted to see and gave us a tour that really was a complete collection of things to see. At no point of the day did we feel hurried through any point. She provided us with a ton of information and had extra pictures and notes downloaded on to her iPad that gave us a complete experience.
We could have booked a metro tour and a kremlin tour and a cathedral tour, but this had everything we needed. At the end of the day, our guide recommended this little Ukranian restaurant off the main streets. She also gave personality to the tour, not just providing the facts of everything, but sharing stories about her family and Moscow throughout the past century.
This tour is perfect to see many things you thought you would have needed two our three tours to get through.
A long and hot day covering a lot of places. Karina the guide was a friendly local with great english and very open and honest. The main highlights were the Metro, Gorky Park and off course the Kremlin and Red Square. Karina also managed to get us to a vegetarian place for lunch which was a nice touch and very welcome. It would have been nice if we had managed to squeeze in Lenins Mausoleum which I did on my own and a boat ride - which I ran out of time to do later. All in all very recommended and a great guide!
This was a good tour to cover some of the main must-sees in Moscow. Our guide Anna was good. After meeting up at our hotel we used the metro and walked during the rest of the tour. We covered the Red Square including the Kremlin, cathedrals, the Armory Museum and Lenin's mausoleum, which takes up most of the time int h tour, and also visited the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. One thing that is good to know is that the tour covers as much as you can see with a guide within the 8 hours it does not include all the sites that are listed on the website. Also, as a suggestion, having the guide accompany us inside the Armory Museum would have been helpful in terms of covering some of the stories behind the historical objects although an audio guide was provided with the armory tickets. Overall a good tour to cover some important sites in one day in Moscow.
