Excellant. Lovely informative guide who spoke perfect English. Took us to sites and areas we probably wouldn't have thought to visit ourselves. Guide also gave us general advice about other places/areas of interest to visit. Worth every penny and then some. Moscow must be visited at night it's so interesting and beautiful.
The Tour was absolutely great. Everything was explained perfectly. I can only recommend it to all.
Had a great tour with Elena, at the end of april.2016. Short but comprehensive, lots of fun facts and interesting information. I felt great all the time, the guide answered each and every of my questions without hesitation. I strongly recommend for everyone looking to get out of Moscow's most touristical areas and feel the vibe of the city and how it turned into what it is now.
Great tour, friendly knowledgeable guide and nice, small group.
Did two tours with the same guide Elena - she was great!
Great. Elena the guide is knowledgeable and enthusiastic and showed us some wonderful little neighborhoods that tourists wouldn't normally see.
Excellent tour guide (unfortunately, her name escapes me at the moment) with a wealth of knowledge on the Soviet era. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts.
Great guide to take us to the night spots of Moscow. Something we would not have seen if by ourselves.
I had the best guide for my moscow trip. She went out all the way to provide guidance throughout the walking tour and had actually gone an extra mile giving me the best memories of moscow at night.
Showed me all the main places of interest, taking lots of pictures for me and providing me with lots of information. The best guide!!!
Fab Tour something a little different. Maria the guide was so knowledgeable. Well worth it. Thank-you
It was fun. Even thou I don't like to stay up all night I had a very good time.
A very different tour.. Very enjoyable thanks to the tour guide! Very knowledgeable and a barrel of laughs! He has a great sense of humour which made all the difference.
Also extremely helpful! The guide makes this tour
Excellent tour and very knowledgeable guide with very good English language skills. Highly recommended.
Very good, but we did not return to the cafe stated in the blurb. His knowledge was amazing.
Low key but fun tour around some of Moscow's lesser known parts. Nice to see real community events going on and also old printing office being reborn as local clothing store. Elena was a gem, and her stories of serial killers and so on were great. Fun to finish on an old tram with real Muscovites doing their own thing, and tour finishes in a cool area with lots of bars and eateries. Worth doing.
we started the tour just after the hurricane. Bad luck, no tram trip possible. Good luck, we were only two guests, had possibility to discuss / place questions. She the guide had thorough knowledge of the region, also very motivated to tell us everything. Recommend.
Wasn't able to take this tour in December as I had hurt my leg and couldn't walk. However, I took this tour the previous summer and it was great.
This was a great way to see a part of Moscow that most tourists don't visit. We LOVED our guide she was knowledgeable and funny and helped everyone find a good place to eat after the tour. I only wish she told MORE stories we didn't hear about free masons and sorcerers, and sadly did not end at the Soviet era pub. Otherwise, my husband and I thought it was wonderful despite the cold!
I had a Sunday evening to fill in Moscow before a morning train to St. Petersburg, and this was a nice way to get a feel for a different side of the city. The tour departed from a statue in the park outside the Kitay-Gorad metro, which was great since I had spent the afternoon nearby. About 8 people had signed up for a Sunday evening. Our guide, Vicky, was a fun and free-spirited young woman who spoke excellent colloquial English although I pointed out to her that hunky-dory is not a current expression, and I added awesomesauce to her vocabulary!
This tour explores the somewhat seedy underside of Moscow, which is quickly disappearing with the gentrification of the urban core. We saw a church where the KGB had executed prisoners, walked through the old Ukrainian ghetto that is quickly transforming, saw some former brothels and illicit distilleries, and then took the tram to the now-fashionable over the river neighborhood. Vicky pointed out a number of good and affordable restaurant options, and gave other suggestions of nice areas to explore in the city. It was a nice way to spend a few hours and I'd recommend this as a supplement to the typical cathedral and Kremlin tours.
Our guide was great...knowledge and peraonality. It was unusual and interesting
