Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Aoraki Mount Cook Village and a short transfer to Aoraki Mount Cook Airport to begin your aerial adventure. After meeting your pilot and listening to the safety briefing, jump aboard either a ski plane or a helicopter and take off over the Mount Cook National Park.

Marvel at the spectacular scenery as you soar over Tasman Terminal Lake, swoop around the Hochstetter ice fall, and spot the mighty peak of Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain. After gazing out over the vast Tasman Glacier, New Zealand’s longest glacier, touch down on one of the mountain peaks and step out to walk across the snowy landscapes.

On the return journey, switch to either a ski plane or a helicopter to complete your aerial adventure and enjoy a different perspective of the dramatic national park.

Back at the airport, a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Hi! The whole thing was quite unsatisfactory. After several calls we agreed that I would arrive from Tekapo, at least over an hour's drive, but the event will take place a little later. When we arrived we were told that there can only be one helicopter flight. It looked like this: 22 minutes flight and 20 minutes break on a glacier dump. We were passed without comment. We loved the trip we took with the Mount Cook Ski Plane and Helicopter. The office folks were pleasant and professional. The trip was amazing. We ended up going to Franz Joseph Glacier as the Tasman Glacier wasn't a viable option that day. We highly recommend this trip!

My flight was cancelled as the wind is too strong. Am still awaiting for the cancellation refund email which my Friend received the email on the same day but I have yet to receive my notification after more than 10 days. Had contacted the company and they said they have informed Viator. Pls assist to check and do the necessary ASAP.

It was a spectacular and fabulous tour! This was our first experience to take helicopter and stepped on the white, soft and thick snow land. We're so lucky and my parent was so enjoyable when the snow was falling down from the sky. Besides that, the scenery from helicopter was unforgettable. I strongly recommended for those who will travel to Mount Cook. Thanks!
