Begin your day with morning pickup at your Mumbai hotel and transfer to the first of three renowned pandals, Fort Cha Raja Pandal.
Located near the General Post Office, Fort Cha Raja Pandal attracts hundreds of devotees who come to honor a Ganesh figure surrounded by elaborate flower decorations. Next up, visit a traditional family home to witness a ceremony that honors Ganesh. You can also learn from the family members about Marathi culture.
Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Mazgoan cha Raja Pandal to see a Ganesh that sits among twinkling lights. Next, head to Khetwadi 12 lane to view the most interesting of the three pandals.
Your final event of the day takes you to Girgaon Chawpatty to witness the Ganesh Visajana, a ceremony where devotees sing and dance while carrying the Ganesh statues from thousands of pandals to the sea.
Please dress modestly so that you can enter places of worship during this festival (see Additional Info for more details).
Your tour ends after eight hours with return to your hotel.
