Dachau tour
MaryAnn_C, May 2022
Connie, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and ver well trained. Even with the marathon going on that day and the celebration at Marienplatz she led us on a fast paced trek to catch our train and bus amid all these obstacles. Very moving and informative tour.
Unprofessional and misleading
Shea_H, May 2022
Extremely disappointing customer service. It says once we bought the tour that the departure time was 10:55am and it says where to be, i included the photo. After showing up early, we were told by customer service that the trip had left at 10:10am and that we were wrong and there was no way the tour was at 10:55 am and they have never had a tour at that time in the last ten years. After contacting them via phone call and then on the text chat option, i received a response hours later which was obviously unhelpful. Come to find out when I request a refund, they removed the departure time on the website. Although I cannot be certain, clearly it was a mistake on their part and they removed the departure time in order to make me liable and not them. However, I screenshot the the departure time prior to this site change. Furthermore, it specifically says my tour is in English so i know that was not the problem either. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this tour. See photos below.

Rick_S, Apr 2022
It was cancelled with little notice. I was disappointed. How much more can I say in a review of a cancelled tour?
Response from Host, Apr 2022
Hello Rick, I'm sorry that we had to cancel your tour. All our guides get tested for Corona before tour start. The guide for this tour was positiv and couldn't conduct the tour. Ralph Luenstroth
A poignant moment.

Very informative and thought provoking. The guide was very good and knowledgeable. You could imagine what the camp looked like back in the day. The crematorium section was extremely moving.
Charged Me Even Though I Didn’t Take the Tour
Sandra_M, Mar 2022
I didn’t take the tour but was charged anyway. I left a message for the tour guide more than 24 hours in advance and he didn’t return my call. Now I am charged for a tour I didn’t take.
Response from Host, Apr 2022
Hello Sandra, I'm sorry that you could not take our tour on time. All our tours can be cancelled in writing up to 24 h before tour start. We are not able to return missed calls to a foreign mobile no. The call might be more expensive than the cost for the tour. We always purchase all train tickets from Munich to Dachau a day before tour start. We don't get any refund for the tickets. I can offer you a voucher for this tour. You can use it the next time when you are in Muncih. Ralph Luenstroth

Excellent Tour
Jennifer_Z, Oct 2021
Our guide was amazing and so well informed. She gave us an experience that you could never get trying to explore Dachau on your own and gave myself and my teen daughter a day we will never forget. That is no easy feat!
Great memorial that's interesting with the right info
Valerie_K, Oct 2021
Very impressive tour with a guide that really know what she's talking about. Cornelia is a real topguide. The memorial itself was very interesting and with the right information of Cornelia you could put things in The right context.
Amazing Tour in Dachau !
ronny22, Oct 2021
Ralph is a phenomenal guide. I learned so much from the Tour at Dachau. Can't tell you enough how kind, knowdlegeable, and patient Ralph is. He also incentivizes real talk of NAZI Germany, and that is of great value for visitors. Take this tour on a heartbeat.
