Great tour, great overview of the city. Highly recommend as many others have to take on your first day to give you an idea of where you want to go.
Really helpful and worth it when you are traveling alone. You get to cover most of the places without the hassle of figuring out how to travel there.
These are always great ways to get to know the city and have safe, accessible transportation. As soon as we left the train station, we jumped on the bus and got our bearings. Highly recommend.
Best way to get to Nymphenburg summer palace. Worth hopping off to see inside of castle and the royal coach and sleigh museum.
Buy the Munich museum pass to have entry for up to five people to all palaces and museums without additional entry fees.
Pass works for all castle and museums within the day trip area. Thus, no need to purchase a trip with entry fees included such as to Neuschwanstein.
This is the best way to explore Munich as every stop will leave you at a key attraction and you manage to have a good overview about the city the first time you visit it. Really recommended!! My favourite stops were the Allianz Arena and the royal palace- it is really fantastic to have a walk in that garden!! 5 stars- thanks Viator

We road both the inner circle and outer circle tour. Nice way to see the city from a very good guide. I would recommend to do both and then decide where you are going to visit the rest of the time you are in Munich.
Great tour. This allowed us to see all the sights and to explore. Definitley recommend
Great trip, although the Romantic Road is more of a concept, rather than a specific destination. Because of road construction, we were on and off the 'Romantic Road' numerous times, and honestly, you could hardly distinguish on from off. Harburg Castle and the walled village of Rothenburg were spectacular, and our guide was excellent.
We did a 48-hour hop-on hop-off tour which gave us 1 day to do the Castle Nyphenburg/BMW/Olympic Stadium route and the other day to explore the city. This was the perfect amount of time to feel like we could see as much stuff as possible. We didn't do any museums though, which might've needed a 3rd day. We were pleased with the locations of the stops. What a fun and chill city!
Very beautiful and green city. Museums, parks and points of attraction are all covered.
I had it, but really didn't use it to the full potential that I could have, well worth it too, lots of information, plenty of stops,
Excellent way to see the whole city in a couple of days. Highlights, surfing the isle river
I really recommend. Very up to standard, well mannered drivers and very helpful. Thanks once again
This Hop On Hop Off tour is extremely well organized with convenient drop off locations, well marked buses, and great commentary while on the buses. We bought the 48 hour pass that allowed us to visit all stops. The first day we rode on the complete tour to get our orientation in the city and after seeing all the stops, then decided which ones we wanted to stop off at. We visited several stops within the city the first day and the second day we used the buses to visit the Nymphenburg Gardens and Englisher Gardens - wonderful way to get around the beautiful city of Munich!
Our hotel was half a block from Stop 1. We arrived in Munich at 6 a.m. and were at Stop 1 by 9. We hopped off at a couple of places and found it very easy to just get back on. The schedules at all the stops were very clear. We faded no sleep while on the plane, so hopped off at Stop 7, which was about 2 blocks from our hotel, took a nap, and then hopped back on a bus that started with the second half of the tour. The guides were great and spoke English. This was an excellent experience.
Great tour! Was a little hesitant because I had never done a hop-on-hop-off tour, I was afraid it would be lame... but I really enjoyed it! So much interesting history and facts are shared, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly, the tour takes you to places you'll want to go while visiting Munich! From what I remember, there was a short loop and a longer loop, and I liked being given the options depending on what I had planned for the day.
Was a great way to experience Munich for the first time. Guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed the ability to hop off and resume the tour from the same place or from another pickup location.
Great way to see all the sites and hop off to see the Palace Nymphenburg and BMW museum tour. Books a few months a head if you want to take the BMW factory tour. We suggest getting the Grand Tour which gets you to all the attractions.
