Tour was very well run and organized. THis was a very busy weekend at the Christmas market but we enjoyed in immensely!
This was a great day trip - the tour guide was easy to follow, and the tour was a good mix of guided and free time. Hit all the highlights, including the Nazi party rally grounds.
We had a wonderful guide, Chris, who made this trip super enjoyable. We also lucked out because it was the last day of the Nurenberg Christmas market, which is wonderful! And, in another stroke of good luck, the weather cooperated. Make sure you dress warmly if your'e traveling in winter, good LL Bean boots or equivalent a must, it can get very slushy.
We enjoyed our tour of Nuremberg with Achem! Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. A great day in a great city!
Chris was our tour guide for this day trip. He was the most knowledgable guide we had in all of our European travels. He knew so much about Hitler and the Third Reich and about Nuremberg. He even carried pictures and other items for us to see about the city's past history. This tour was very fast moving and not for those that cannot walk fast and stand for long periods of time. This however was truly the best tour we have ever taken, hands down. Chris was working through Radius Tours who offers many of these trips through Viator.
A fast moving, entertaining and informative tour of Nuremberg. Our guide, Chris, was excellent, if you want to know a little of what your seeing in Nuremberg and the history behind it, instead of just wandering aimlessly about then this tour is for you.
Best tour guide Sabri. Took time and really looked after everyone. Will want to use him in all the tours
Great tour! It took longer than it we thought to arrive, your rail ticket is not guaranteed to be an ICE which means it could take 2 hours instead of an hour, but that may be because our original guide was sick and we needed to pick up the replacement guide on the way there. Jason was a great guide, very funny and informative. Don't expect to see everything in Nuremberg or receive very detailed information however, this tour is to get you to the major sites and let you become familiar with city, I would suggest if you have the time to take this tour and then return to Nuremberg to actually enter the castle and explore the city further though it isn't a very big city, at least the interesting parts. On our trip, we walked through the old city, went to the market place, and then up to the castle - however the best and most interesting part was taking the bus to the Nazi rally grounds, which is truly a sight to behold if you appreciate the history. If you go to the optional museum portion, I would suggest skipping the beginning of the museum which covers basic history and focusing on the audio tour of the second 2/3rds which focus on Nuremberg, since the museum takes a very long time to cover by audio tour! This tour cost essentially as much as the train tickets alone would have, and is definitely worth this tiny cost! Walking around a new city on your own is daunting, and because of Jason's tour I am now familiar with Nuremberg, saw all the main attractions and ate the best food, and I now know exactly what to see if I return.
Amazing day! We definitely experienced our money's worth from all of the sight seeing.
An absolutely fantastic day! Sabri, our tour guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. Every thing was well planned and clear instructions were given regarding arrangements at every point of the tour. This is a must-do on your tour list - such an informative and memorable day!!!

Great day !! Nuremberg has a wonder Christmas Market. Also, you MUST have the Nuremberg sausage in the crusty warmed roll.
Our guide, Achim his name may may be spelled wrong was very passionate and very knowledgeable about Nuremberg. This was an all-day tour and was totally worth it. The price included round-trip train to/ from Munich. The morning was spent touring Nuremberg's beautiful Old Town. Then lunch time, with some restaurant recommendations from our guide. The afternoon was devoted to the Nazi Rally Grounds. Not much is left standing and the stuff that is still there is not in good shape. But we did get to climb up where Hitler made his speeches. The guide made the stories about the grounds come alive and the lessons were fascinating. The pace was brisk throughout the day but that's what I iliked about it.
it was a perfect Trip, Jason our guide was really amazing, he has a lot of information and experience
the trip was very interesting, i would recommend it again
I enjoyed this tour much more than expected. The old city of Nuremberg was very interesting. I would have liked to spend more time there but there wasn't time to see it all. I will definitely go back.
What a pretty town this is. So much history as well. The old town still has moat, wall and castle in place. There is a lot of walking and one very steep hill but our guide Aussie Chris was very patient with this out of shape American. He was a great tour guide who obviously did quite a bit of research on his own. He explained both the medieval history and the Nazi history completely and understandably. The rally grounds which is really nothing more than a park now came to life because of his narrations and photos. You could really understand the megalomaniac that was Hitler. This was a great day.
Quick Summary: Awesome trip. Totally worth it. Tour guide Chris is the best!
I'm in my early 20s and bought one ticket for myself. The meeting place was very easy to find. We had a small group 10 from Munich and a few others who joined us in Nuremberg. Our tour guide Chris found us seats all together on the trains to and from Nuremberg and managed the tickets for us. Chris was very knowledgable about both the history of Nuremberg itself since it's founding and also how its history played into the actions taken during WWII. He spoke very clearly and loudly so that everyone could hear. The pictures he brought with him of Hitler and the Nazi rallies were very well chosen as they showed the exact places we were standing and really brought you back in time to see how it was possible such atrocities arose. We also had a few older folks on the tour, and Chris stopped often to make sure they weren't getting left behind especially on the steep incline up to the Nuremberg Castle... totally worth it for the view though, but this didn't seem to cut into our time. I had a great day, learned a lot, and came home with some amazing gingerbread from a bakery Chris recommended. What an awesome trip!
We had a great tour guide, Achim. He was funny and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the historic sites. I felt like having attended a detail history lesson about Nuremberg. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends.

Fantastic tour to Nuremberg! Our guide, Jason, was very knowledgeable and kept us informed along the way. The train station there had some great artisan crafters. Don't miss out, buy them when you see them!
The old town of Nurnberg is really pretty, the walking tour was nice... The afternoon part of the tour was really informative. It's nice to see how the city has turned such dark things into a very nice park.
An interesting view of the historic city and of the Nazi Party Rallies. Everything was ok!
