Pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is included and is either from/to hotel or a designated meeting point depending on the location of the accommodation. It is a shared transportation that includes stops at multiple hotels/meeting points therefore a certain delay may occur. In case you miss it, you will need to call us that morning to find out where the embarkation point will be and you will have to reach it by your own means and charges. The embarkation time of this cruise is at 08:45 am and the departure time is at 09:30 am. *At the embarkation point the participants will be able to recognize one of the cruise representatives and crew by their t-shirt or sign saying 'Sunfos Alessia Yachting'.
Your sailing cruise experience starts when you're picked up from your hotel by complimentary transportation to reach the embarkation point. One of your cruise representatives greets you and gives you an overview of the cruise itinerary. A short ride follows from the small dock in order to embark the sailing yacht anchored out in Agios Ioannis bay.

Meet your cruise representative and friendly crew, and get a safety briefing before climbing aboard the yacht. If you like, help the skipper raise and trim the sails and get a lesson in steering as you make your way out into the bright blue Aegean, or you can simply soak up the sun on deck.

Drop anchor in an unspoiled bay at the island of Rhenia for a swim and snorkel break off a golden sand beach. When you've had your fill of the water, enjoy a delicious light lunch right on board featuring Italian pasta with Greek Salad, fresh local fruits, and a selection of complimentary house wine and soft drinks.

Then, choose from two different options to create your own ideal afternoon. Go ashore at Delos, the birthplace of the Apollo according to Greek mythology, for a licensed guided tour of the UNESCO-listed ruins of the ancient Greek trading and pilgrimage city (entrance fee not included). Explore the remnants of temples and marketplaces, see sacred artifacts in the museum, and hike up Mt. Kythnos for spectacular views of the island and surrounding sea. Or, take inspiration from Poseidon with another swimming stop at a beautiful Rhenia beach.

With either choice, climb back aboard the yacht in the late afternoon and start the return voyage to Mykonos, where the full-day tour concludes.

Your crew helps you disembark by a short tender ride to the small dock in front of the Church of Agios Ioannis where your complimentary transportation is waiting for you. Say goodbye—in Greek style—with a farewell drink toast.

We had a wonderful day on the water. We got to explore Delos island which was so interesting to see. Then we got to enjoy an afternoon at sea. We got to swim, snorkel, relax, have a DELISHIOUS lunch, I even got to hold a live Octopus that one of our snorkelers found in the water. The water was so clear and gorgeous! It was a day I'll never forget!

It was a marvelous experience and the yacht was very clean! Not too crowded, comfortable and lots of personal space. Everyone on board was so nice and new friendships were made. The crew served a traditional Greek meal which was fabulous. I would've liked to spend more time on the boat in the Aegean rather than on the island, but that was because because it was an absolute beautiful day and the water was crystal clear! Highly recommend this combo

    Casual day on the water

Overall a nice day and worth taking the tour if you’re wanting something to do while in Mykonos. PROS: pick up/drop off, food & beverage included, the crew is very accommodating and polite, guided tour of Delos. CONS: didn’t pick up/drop off near hotel so had to go to meeting point that wasn’t very close, A/C not on during transport despite the van being full, more than 15 people on the tour like it says when booking so the boat felt a bit crowded, not enough swimming floating noodles for amount of people on tour, the boat is older and some things in need of refurbishment. This is not a “luxury yacht experience” or “small group experience” in any way if you’re looking for that this is not for you but if you’re looking for a casual experience and value for your money, this is it.

    Great visiting Delos

    , Sep 2022
It was a great cruise, the crew was nice and accommodating. We felt it was a bit too long, as the time spent in Rhenia could have been reduced by an hour, but visiting Delos made it completely worth it! Also would be nice having more shady smoke-free areas on the boat, as it was scorching hot, and there is zero shade on delos, so once you're on the boat you need somewhere to cool off.

    Delos boat trip

Lovely boat. Excellent crew. The lunch was tasty and freshly prepared. Lots of wine and soft drinks available. The guide on Delos island was friendly and knowledgable. Boat ride was windy and very wet at times. Take a jacket and towels to help keep you dry and think about where you sit. The front got very wet on the way out. The middle of the boat on the way back.

    One word: Outstanding!

One of the best ‘tour’ experiences we’ve had. We are not really the ‘pre-set’ or conducted tour kind of folks (no offense to those that are. they can be great for anyone seeking structure). This one was an exception(al) of an experience in every way. The boat itself was excellent! The crew was just as great - very cordial, humble, hospitable and generous. Our guide for Delos was brilliant. In spite of the heat, she really took her time to provide an outstanding and fun narrative, sprinkled with historical references and anecdotes. Additionally, the lunch on board was outstanding. Highly recommend this experience.

    Lots of sun

All in all a great tour to get ocean activities and a Delos tour in one day. There is little respite from the blazing sun ALL day so be prepared with sun hats, sunscreen, etc. You will be exposed to unrelenting sun, especially at Delos. It would have been nice if the tour guide gave her long (albeit interesting) lectures on Greek history while having us sit in shade. The food was delicious and prepared on the boat. I suggest windbreakers and close toed water shoes.

Great guided tour of Delos but not worth the total cost
    Austin_D
    , Jun 2022
Tour guide at Delos was great! Water was crystal clear but not much to see other than sand and a few fish. Water was a little cold. With a do-over, I’d skip the swimming and just do Delos. Food better than expected. Ride back in the afternoon was incredibly choppy. Skipper and crew didn’t seem to mind drinking water and chain-smoking: so suspect it was normal. Started out fun going up and down the waves with the occasional splash. But by the end, many passengers felt ill and were happy to debark. Also told to be ready for pick up in the morning by 8 with yea after leaving 2 minutes later max. Van didn’t show up until 8:35. We were the first off the van in the afternoon, however - I would take that trade.

This experience provided us with a great day spent on the water. The staff were friendly and the lunch was delicious (though cold). I gave this experience 4 out 5 stars instead of 5 out of 5 stars for the following reasons: *The listing promised that snorkel gear would be provided (mask, snorkel, fins). These items were never offered to us. When we anchored at Rineia island we were simply told to jump off of the boat if we wanted to swim. No mention of snorkeling, though to be fair, the waters are very crystal clear. And there was no sign of fish from above the water's surface, so there likely was not much to see below the surface in terms of aquatic life. *The lunch was delicious, but the items on the plate that were clearly meant to be served warm were cold. *The listing talks about complimentary beverages. This is absolutely true, but no one ever asks if you would like a beverage. You must be proactive in this regard. *The email prior to the event noted that we absolutely must be at our pick-up location at 8:00 a.m. and that the transfer bus would arrive promptly at 8:00 a.m. and leave at 8:02 a.m. It was very clear (and somewhat aggressive) that the bus would leave at 8:02 a.m. and that if you weren't there, you would be left behind. Out transfer didn't arrive until after 8:15. I understand that things happen (especially on the road of Mykonos), but it felt inappropriate to be so aggressive with the time in the email only to disregard later. Kind of a poor start to the day. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Amazing day trip, but some of the staff are confused
    Meghann_M
    , Jun 2022
We had SUCH a good time on this trip, with great fellow passengers as well as an excellent crew. A major thing to note: The ground crew that met us at the dock was very uninformed. The itinerary for the day was flipped, compared to what's on the listing: Delos first, then swimming afterward. The ground crew also contradicted the listing and said that if you don't take the tour at Delos, you have to wait on the boat for a couple hours. The majority of our sailing group was not interested in the ruins, so we were pretty annoyed at what seemed like a huge change to the trip. Turns out that the second swim is at the captain's discretion, so just as it was written here, we dropped off the group that wanted the tour and motored around to another area where we were able to swim to a beach. So don't be alarmed if the spiel they give you beforehand doesn't match up to your expectations -- and maybe remind them that it doesn't, since they were not very receptive to being corrected. HOWEVER, despite that small drama, the rest of the day was excellent and I absolutely recommend this trip.

Great day on the water. Pick up was very efficient with confirmation emails the day before. Once on boat spent time explaining the day so everyone knew what to expect. Stop for swimming was spectacular with the only down being would have liked a noodle to float with as we saw with other boats. Tour of Delos was very good but hot as we were warned. It was good they provided us with water.
