Horrible bus ride to Charleston and lunch

Brakes on the bus was horrible loud noise every time the brakes was applied . And please bring your own food, all they have is homemade ham and cheese on regular white bread in a ziplock stale bag of chips with no air , and a flat Pepsi and two cookies in a ziplock

Carriage ride and the information on the history of the city It would of been nice to have a little more time to shop the market, but the carriage ride was enjoyable and very educational. We felt rushed to get from one location to the next location. The Fort Sumter was nice, and the premade lunch was a nice touch. Though a option of what type of lunch would of been a better consideration of those who have a food allergy or are vegetarian. The plantation was very historic and a blast to the past. Just having a bit more time would have been nice.

It was easy and efficient setting up the trip, the communication regarding where we would be picked up by the bus was good, the clear instructions/directions by Wendy the bus driver was appreciated, the knowledge and sense of humor of Richard the carriage driver were great, and everything ran perfectly on time. Can't ask for more!

Great trip; very well timed so that we did not feel rushed but also were able to get sufficient time at each attraction. The visit to Ft Sumter was most instructive and absolutely a feature of trip #7. Also, because we were one of the earlier carriage tours, the market wasn't as crowded as it is later in the day. The only negative is the box lunch that is provided; given the cost of the trip a nicer box lunch should be provided. No name turkey on white bread (think, wonder bread) and no name look-alike Oreo cookies doesn't cut it. I would recommend bringing your own lunch and snacks. However, other than the lunch, this is an excellent trip.

What a GREAT day trip!! The Horse carriage ride and guide were excellent. The trip to Fort Sumter was very good and Boone Plantation was beautiful and the people were so sweet.

Three friends had been to Charleston before but wanted to experience it again. Overall we had a good experience. We would have liked to see the battery and Rainbow Row but to be honest, these things were not in the trip description. The lunch was fresh but kind of mediocre. I would suggest a written itinerary with times or a text instead of verbal directions that may not be remembered correctly.
