The 50-foot (15-meter) Kiwi Cat was designed and built in New Zealand by ESPN Networks and has played a part in filming two different America’s Cup races. Thanks to its new home near the San Francisco Bay, you now have the opportunity to experience the vessel’s sleek design and exceptional stability for yourself.
Gather a group of up to 12 friends or family members and climb aboard the Kiwi Cat at the Napa City Dock. You’re welcome to bring along your own food and beverages to keep yourself well-fed and refreshed throughout the voyage. Take advantage of the boat’s luxurious amenities, and get comfortable with your choice of seating areas, including an indoor settee surrounded by picture windows and an outside deck.
Relax as your captain directs the boat along 14 miles (22.5 km) of the scenic Napa River, passing through the famed winemaking region of Carneros and the city of Vallejo. Get a glimpse of the West Coast’s first naval station and World War II–era shipyard at Mare Island, and cruise through the canals and marshlands of the San Pablo Bay. After passing the Richmond Bridge, head into the famous waters of the San Francisco Bay and get a fantastic perspective on Angel Island and Alcatraz.
Conditions permitting, you can opt to extend the 4-hour voyage to explore the San Francisco Bay further, venturing out to the famous orange arcs of the Golden Gate Bridge (additional charge of $650/hour applies). The voyage ends at the historic San Francisco Ferry Building terminal, a great jumping-off point to explore the ‘City by the Bay.’
