We had a great trip with Edward. Very prompt and personable. We were on time for each tasting or booking. He gave us tips at each please to make the most of our experience. This is so much better than being with people you don’t know. Would recommend the private car!
We could not have been happier with this experience. First of all, the coordination and the crafting of the trip were timely, interactive and helped us with a plan for a great day. Secondly, the driver -- Dean -- was great with communications for our initial link-up and throughout the day and lastly, the tour was flexible based on what we wanted, where we wanted to go next and all of the information throughout the day.
To be honest, Dean was the real star as he made great recommendations, provided great service and truly made us feel like we were on a special, private tour.
We WILL be back to have Dean take us around Sonoma next time (this was just Napa). Hopefully we will have a little more "tasting stamina" as well...
Our driver was Kyle, couldn't ask for a nicer guy! Beyond thoughtful as well!!!!
He customized our already specific tour once he realized the types of wines we preferred after our first wine tasting. Kyle even suggested visiting a vineyard that made olive oils and balsamic vinegars, which were really tasty and a great selection to sample and choose from.
The driver was not aware of our itinerary that was discussed ahead of time. We had to ask/request for our bottles of wine that were included in the price. Driver told us that he paid out of his own pocket for one nicer one instead of giving us two ? He even came and sat next to us at one of our tastings as if he was joining us. He was not professional or prepared for this trip and we are requesting a discount.
Customer experienced our best driver, Kyle and his feedback reported that this was a FRAUDULENT REVIEW. Customer was drinking from a large handle of vodka they snuck in the car since morning. Kyle had to repeatedly tell customer to not drink from the vodka handle while in the vehicle, which made the lead traveler disgruntled. The other three travelers in the group were pleasant and friendly. The lead traveler was belligerent and made everyone uncomfortable the whole day.
Customer also made false accusations about the driver to attempt at receiving a discounted rate for our services provided.
(Kyle had both the customer's desired schedule as well as our company concierge edit in the case the alternative destinations provided would be preferred for their convenience in saving time and introducing the group to highly rated wines of their particular preference. The lead traveler was furious at this gesture, while the other guests in the group were appreciative of it.)
Kyle went out of his way to provide an expensive bottle of local wine for guest group instead of providing our standard 2 bottles of local Champagne & Cabernet.
We just don't understand the lack of appreciation, here...We will be warning other local private touring companies of this individual to prevent this sort of situation from happening again to a legitimate business.
We are glad to hear , that you've enjoyed the day in wine country with Alex.

We are so so lucky to have found this tour! We really enjoyed planning our trip with Mason and doing research and mapping out our trip on our own. Donna, our guide, was truly the most incredible person for this trip and we feel so fortunate she was chosen for us. She’s a local resident of about 50 years and that came in handy for she had the answer to any question we had. She picked us up right on time at our downtown San Francisco hotel. We started at Gloria Ferrer Wines which has probably the best view in Napa from a winery. It was slightly busy there even in off season so plan on being there 15-20 min before anyone takes your order. We didn’t mind though. We then went to Trefethen where we didn’t have much time before our lunch reservation but one of the guys there GENEROUSLY offered us a complimentary tasting and we ended up buying a bottle! O-K-D Three red blend- wow, so good! We then had a 12:15 reservation at Farmstead Meadow Ranch....holy cow was that one of best lunches we ever had! We had crab legs and trout. It was such a cute place and we sat outside in the sun- weather was incredible- got lucky! From there we headed to Castle di Amorosa. That place was very popular. Our tour guide there was very cool and we were in awe of everything. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine- 2015 Sangiovese, 2018 La Fantasia and 2018 Late Harvest Gewürztraminer. So yummy. Last stop for a hot minute was at JCB tasting Salon. You really should try this spot. We ran out of time but would love to go back- it was very swank in there! Again, we thank Donna profusely! She felt like a friend we’ve known forever. My girlfriend really enjoyed her company. She was hysterical as well! She dropped us off at our Napa bed and breakfast right on time. Thanks Viator and Cardinal Transportation for being such great companies!
Thank you so much for this thorough and lovely review. Mason expressed how great your group was to work with and plan with for the day. Donna (who's amazing, we agree!) was extremely thankful for having you as a group. Small businesses like ours thrive on meeting great people and giving them a great experience.
Thank you, again!
