Our tour guide was excellent. Our group of 8 was just the right size. I would recommend this tour.
Outstanding. Bus driver and guide were top class. Loved ravello and plenty of time to do things ourselves.
Great tour. Alex and driver Joseph were great. Only an hour in a couple cities but is adequate if you plan your time. The guide offers to lead you to specific places but eats away at your free time to explore if you want to shop a lot or take lots of pics. I took 200-300 photos. Still not a bad option if you are not great with directions. Either way you will enjoy. Highly recommend.
Quite a full day, but well worth it. The guide was quite knowledgeable, and just full of interesting facts and antidotes.
The drive is spectacular and there are no words to describe the beauty of the scenery. Robbie was knowledgeable and engaging and very personable. There is plenty of time in each of the towns to shop and sightsee. I would recommend to anyone!

After a glitch at the start after which we ended up with a lovely new Mercedes 20-passenger bus, the trip was all you could ask. Highly informed and informative guide great driver. Once we passed near lovely Sorrento over to the Amalfi side of the Sorrentine Peninsula, things got even more beautiful. Breathtaking vistas and stops in Positano and Amalfi with a delightful boat-ride and lunch from Amalfi. If anything, Ravello was even more gorgeous. You'll take hundreds of pictures -- if you restrain yourself!! Even with the late start, we arrived comfortably back in Naples before dinner time which doesn't even begin until at least 7:00 p.m. anyway. Highest recommendation.
packed day around the coast - on the boat and on the road.We visited a lot of sights, and were given great advice about what to do, what to buy and where to eat in each of the spots. Highly recommended!
Amazing, incredibly beautiful. I spent the entire day being blown away by the beauty of it all.
Annalisa our guide met us at the entrance to our hotel Terminus on time. We made a few stops on the way to pick up other guests and stop for bathroom breaks. but none of these took long and they gave us the opportunity to take some photos etc... Once everyone was on board 10 guests we headed through the stunning landscape to Positano, Amalfi and then Ravello. There is an optional boast ride in Amalfi for 12 Euros which I would highly recommend as the views are stunning. The only downside I would say is the number of people in Amalfi and the quick visit to Ravello. I could have stayed there for hours!.. However Annalisa was so much fun and positive I won't take a star off just for this. Also our driver Mikaeli was excellent and very safe.
This was a very nice tour! Piero was an amazing guide, so helpful and very organized! Totally recommend this tour again.
The only thing is that I would and #39;ve liked to be picked up and dropped at my hotel like the description said...
Everything went very smoothly - pickup and drop-off. We did have reasonably enough time at each and every stop on the way.
The lady guide was fun - she went all the way of picking us figs on the way home.
We had a good time!
We'd recommend this tour and Piero was a terrific guide. The boat tour in Amalfi was a definite highlight and the views of the coast were stunning. A great way to get a taste of each of the towns in a day and nice break from the intensity of Naples. The experience overall would have been 5 stars, but it went a longer than expected we got back around 7pm and the pickup point in the morning was a 20 minute walk away from our hotel.
The coast was very nice and I would like to visit it again but next time, not with viator. Our transport came about 45 minutes late and the tour operators did not bother to inform us beforehand. We had been waiting for about 45 minutes at the scheduled pickup point in front of Star Hotel Terminus. As a result of the delay, we had been stuck up in a traffic jam for around one hour before we could reach the coastal road. After that the journey was excellent, but the bus didn't stop at the three cities for sufficient time to have a stroll. However, the boat trip in Amalfi as suggested by our guide Del Piero was really worth for the money we paid for it. During return journey. our driver Alfanso opted for a shorter route and we reached our hotel 15 to 20 minutes before the scheduled time for arrival. Anyway, we feel that total time for our trip was truncated and we could have enjoyed more if it was as promised in the brocheure. In spite of all these, the coast itself was an amazing beauty and anybody visting Naples should not miss it.

Having booked this trip specifically because it included hotel pick-up we were told that in fact that was not the case. However this was quickly resolved and we were picked up at 8.15am to meet up with the rest of the group in Sorrento. We had to wait an hour to be picked up in Sorrento but did appreciate the fact that a staff member came out to warn us and buy us coffee while we waited. The highlight of the day was Ravello - such a shame we only had an hour there, we could have spent much longer looking around the place.
This trip is OK to get an overview of the area, and of the 3 towns we visited, we would only return to Ravello. Scenery along the coastline is stunning, if you like taking photographs it is essential to sit on the right side of the coach not a mini van as described . A little more honesty in the description of this tour would help.
Unfortunately, this tour was probably organized in the last minute due to high demand in summer. We were picked up at 8 a.m. and it finished at 7:30 p.m. We spent 2/3 of that time in the car, driving through busy serpentines and waiting for other participants who were late.
Our guide Roberto was not very interested in his job and although we booked an English tour, he spoke most of the time in Italian. The main stress of the tour was on villas and hotels. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against some interesting facts about the people who lived there, but to totally ignore rich history, Amalfi as a maritime power and talk only about how much stars this hotel has and if Brad Pitt stayed at that villa is unprofessional! The guide was more like a navigation than a real guide. I usually don't comment someone's appearance but he looked like he came out of night-life, with blood stains on his shirt. Generally speaking, we made a couple of tours during our holidays in Italy and most of the guides were insufficient informative, did not speak English well and looked unmotivated.
Our driver Genaro on the other hand was correct, professional and took greater care of us than the guide.
I would definitely recommend to visit the beautiful Amalfi coast but to book in advance and read the reviews. This tour represented in a way my impression of Italy - a beautiful country with rich history and nature but with people who are not fully aware of it or for some reason are not enough motivated to show it to others.
Gide incompetent, why not consider the delay of all the possibilities offered by forced on a boat trip along the Amalfi coast, at a transport service for 85 euros.
First and most importantly, the Amalfi coast is AMAZING. I would 100 recommend visiting it. However, not with this particular tour. Our driver showed up late, our guide was picked up later also arrived late. They were both exhausted hungover? and totally unenthused. Our lunch consisted of a mini hotdog bun with a slice of cheese and slice of tomato in it.. :/ The van AC wasn't working, so if you were sitting at the back you wanted to vomit and pass out after 30 mins. Though not the driver's fault, we also sat in completely stopped traffic between Positano and Amalfi for well over an hour. As for the actual guide portion, we would arrive in a town, the guide would say something like, Left is church, right is shopping. be back in an hour. We did this for 3 towns. I still know nothing about the history or culture of these beautiful places. Both the driver and the guide had extremely limited english. They spent most of the time talking between themselves in Italian. We were also instructed to pay a certain amount to take a short water bus tour in Amalfi, but I noticed the posted rate was actually lower on board than what we gave our guide? He seemed to have had some kind of agreement with the toll booth guy. Very strange. Finally, our guide and driver didn't want to bring us back to Naples, because they lived in Sorrento, so they dropped us off on the side of a highway so that their friend whom we had never met could drive us back to Naples. AND as we were between vans on the highway they blatantly asked for us for tips! Totally unimpressed. Bottom line: See Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, but save yourself the hassle and go privately or with another tour.
