Pass through the main square of Piazza del Plebiscito to see San Francesco di Paola church and admire the medieval Castel Nuovo, one of the city's major architectural landmarks.

Explore the Royal Palace of Naples on foot, home to the Bourbon Kings in the 18th and 19th centuries. Then step inside the Naples Cathedral and hear the fascinating story behind the miracle of the blood, where a vial from the city's patron saint is brought out twice a year. Top off your city tour with a visit to the Posillipo quarter, gazing out at the Bay of Naples.

Hop back aboard your coach and relax on the brief ride along the coast toward Pompeii. Enjoy a break to purchase lunch before beginning your guided tour around the largest archaeological site in Europe.

Francesca & Elena gave us a wonderful tour of Pompeii & perhaps the best pizza we have ever had. And oh my god, you get a huge pizza & soda all for $5 Euro. Come on! San Carlo will never be forgotten. And if you have never had a Cafe Nocciola, you have not lived.

Had not planned on the heat or difficulty communicating with natives so we were ecstatic with the introduction to Naples in the cool bus with our knowledgeable and funny guide. She gave us such an education in Pompeii that you didn't mind the heat. The trip was well organized and good value.

Our guide, Elisa, was excellent. She was knowledgeable about Napoli and Pompeii. She told us about the history, the legends, and the people who filled the both. It was an enjoyable trip.

Marguerita was fun, and kept our group together through Pompeii. She explained well in English what we were seeing. I wish our morning tour of Spaccanapoli could have been longer. With the tour starting in Naples, we were in Pompeii at the hottest time of the day. Make sure you carry water with you for the tour.

Guide was fine, but maybe not the most professional-looking. Got to see a bit of Naples, including a vista over the whole city, a plaza and coffee shop, and an important church. Group kept getting bigger as we went, and by the time we picked everyone up for Pompeii, the size was almost unmanageable 32 people I think?. We did have headsets to hear the guide, but the side of the group was a little disappointing. Pompeii itself is very much worth seeing and our guide did a great job of explaining everything. There was an uncomfortable point when she was yelling at other independent tourists for cutting ahead of us in line. To be fair to the others, it was not clearly a line... But the tour guide seemed to be prejudiced against foreigners she made a point of how rude these Argentinians were, as some Italians skipped ahead of us as well as I said, it wasn't clearly a line of people waiting and she was considerably nicer to them. Very awkward and unpleasant. Unprofessional to do in front of your tour group when you're on mic. Apart from that moment, though, the tour was good and I would recommend it. Transport was fine. Asked to get dropped off at the Archeological Museum on the way back and enjoyed that as well.

For us this Pompeii tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy, and we highly recommend it. It was fascinating to glimpse the life of this once-thriving city now in ruins with views of Mt. Vesuvius in the background, and our tour guide was excellent.

I learned a lot of things on this tour, and they were all really interesting, but the format of the tour nearly ruined the experience. The Naples half of the tour was fine, but the Pompeii half felt haphazard and disorganized. My tour guide was speaking on the phone on our ride to Pompeii, sounding like there were people missing from our tour. She became very agitated and started shouting, which I found unprofessional. The group was large, around 40 people, and we used radio headsets, which I was not expecting. At the end, the group was split into 3 according to next destinations. This took them nearly half an hour to sort out. In addition, I met a woman on the tour who said that she did not get hotel pickup, even though the website states that pickup is included. She was told she had to walk to a location 15 minutes away with 1 hour's notice.
