My only complaint was there was too much food! Everything from the professor's coffee to offal I would never have tried otherwise to calzones to delicately fried bites of fish to gelato was perfect. I highly recommend the tour to anyone who would like to try anything and everything while learning the history of how these peasant foods developed to much of the comfort foods we eat today. Try it , you'll like it. No actually you'll love it. A great way to spend an afternoon in exploring Naples that left us wanting more.

Our cruise ship docked in Naples for the day didn't want to take one of the ships large rushed bus tours found this food tour and thought we'd give it a try. So what could possibly go wrong? Nothing ... it was amazing!!! Giuseppee Joe led our small group only 2 couples on a 3 hour, easy walking tour which covered Neapolitan food, Neapolitan history, and anything you wanted to ask him. It also covered eating food and more food and more. Anyone and everyone would like this tour. Your loss if you don't try it.

My husband, mother-in-law, and I took this tour recently and enjoyed it very much. Our cruise ship docked in Naples for the day and we were seeking something different than the planned excursions our cruise offered us. This definitely fit the bill! Our tour guide Giuseppe was very informative, friendly and fun to walk and talk with while we ate our way through town. As Americans, we felt very comfortable and would recommend this to others. Just as a warning, we got very full and couldn't finish everything offered to us. So, pace yourself. :

This wonderful tour is a must while in Naples. Giuseppe is a wealth of really interesting information both about the history of the city and about the food. His English is excellent and he has a great sense of humour. Normally I am not an organized tour person but I couldn't recommend this one more highly. It felt more like a stroll around the city with a knowledgeable friend. The food tour was a highlight of our trip in Italy. Grazie mille!

A really excellent tour with a knowledgeable guide. We not only got a historical perspective of the city but also how the local cuisine had evolved and how the poorer areas had created the most amazing street food.
We sampled lots of these foods and were amazed by the variety and sheer amount not only in quantity but the choice!
From the most delectable pastries and coffee, local delicacies based on less expensive meats, deep fried pizza, local fresh seafood at the fish market and of course gelato ....
Highly recommended experience.

My entire family, including teen boys, enjoyed this tour. Giuseppe provided much historical information and his English is excellent. My only recommendation would be to add a food stop earlier in the tour. We didn't eat breakfast in anticipation of the many tastings so were a bit hungry for the first hour. Favorite stop was for Neapolitan coffee and the sfogliatelle pastry. Oh and the fritto misto and vino!

Giuseppe is a huge assert to Naples. He says he is not a history guide but what he was able to tell us was amazing, especially as this was a good walking tour! Food was awesome (one stop, not for the faint hearted!), felt soo full before the end, but when in Naples....So worth the money, teriffic!

Because of a travel mishap, we arrived 30 minutes late but our guide called to check on us and was kind enough to wait. Giuseppe was a wealth of historical information and current perspective. His English was first-rate and his delivery was delightful! By the end of our tour, we were tired, full and happy. And, oh, the pictures! Btw, my boyfriend has committed himself to making the espresso that Napoletano drink.

For anyone wanting to see the real Naples this walking tour is a must do. Guiespoe met at the allocated time. He has perfect English and is very knowledgeable about this city. We went to many wonderfully old places to try delicacies which have been made in the same spot for hundreds of years. My particular favourite was the Hazelnut Expresso very tasty. The tour was so informative and there were so many tastings that we were so full we couldn't even finish the whole list. Guisepoe was excellent in all aspects and we saw so much more than expected and the food delicious. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get to know the real Napkes with a wonderful guide. We were lucky to have Guiseppe to ourselves on this day.

Fantastic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the Food Tour of Naples with Guissepe. Learning about the rich history of Naples and enjoying their traditional foods made our day and remaining visit the best we've ever had in a European city. Consider booking this tour upon arrival so you can go back later to visit some of the same vendors for other samples of their fantastic food! The coffee, pastries, fish, beef, and other traditional Naples cuisine made this unique and informative tour a fantastic experience. The walk was enjoyable, his presentation was interesting and gave us a unique insight of the history of Naples. Guiseppe majored in tourism and is a wealth of information regarding local restaurants and trips and tours available. His advice and tips ensured we were able to see the very best of Naples in our few days there. Based on this experience we are planning a return trip in the late summer to enjoy his wine tour!

We had an excellent time on our food tour. Our guide sorry I can't remember his name now was friendly and well informed. We were the only clients that day so had the guide to ourselves, which was nice. We went to so many places that we couldn't even eat all of the food. We covered a lot of the city and got to try or decline many different and delicious items. I would highly recommend this tour.

OUTSTANDING!! This should really be called Naples Food and History Walking Tour. Giuseppe led two of us on a 3.5 hour walk. he explained so much about Naples as we tried local favorites. Fascinating history, and glimpses into hidden Naples. The variety of food was fun and portions were generous. By the end, the other person and I were too full for pizza, but we gladly accepted gelato. I can't say enough about the quality of this tour--if you go to Naples, don't miss it!!!

We only had two for the tour but were never rushed by our guide. We had a walking history and food tour of the city to the
Spots the locals not tourists would frequent. It was EXCELLENT ! Giuseppe was engaging and fun. Very knowledgeable about the history of Naples and various places he took us too or passed by during our walk. The foods and coffee were all great. Would highly recommend this tour.

Giuseppe was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. He was willing to give us a tour eve though it was just my wife and I, so we basically had a private tour. There was a lot of food- I was so full toward the end that I couldnt eat anymore.
