We had a fantastic time during this trip, we got off the cruise ship, and they were waiting for us in the parking lot, all of the tours and taxi cabs were waiting there, and there was a lady with a sign I think her name is Maria and the sign had like 20 last names in there, in small letters so you needed to get really close to see your name written there. Let me say this tour company is really clever, their logistics are amazing, they took a whole bus of people to Pompeii, they gave us coloured stickers to each continue on our different trips, for instance some people went to Vesuvius, others to Sorrento, so from Pompeii we departed in smaller but very adequate vehicles to our destinations. At Pompeii our admission tickets were included so we didn't need to do any lines, we entered as a group, the guide gave us audio devices so we could listen to everything she was saying, that was really good. She was very knowledgeable, funny, and very professional, we really enjoyed listening to her explanations. Pompeii is a very big place, so keep close to the group because you can get lost easily, I think it was very adequate everything we saw in there, bring adequate footwear because the floor is rocky and uneven. After that they took us to lunch, near the archaeological site of Pompeii, you could choose between pizza and pasta spaghetti... I have to disagree here with other reviews I read which said the pizza was wonderful, it wasn't for me.. the pizza had too much tomato salsa and very little cheese, almost non-existent, the crust was good and it was quite large. I wonder if the pasta would have been a better option. 1 drink was also included, I saw people drinking beer. After that, they took us to Sorrento, which was beautiful, and I'm glad they took us there in the smaller vehicle because the winding roads there are scary, they are too narrow. In Sorrento we had a little free time to shop around. They took us to a shop to try Limoncello and cookies and sweets made out of lemons... please try the lemon cookies! the ones that have a lemon filling, they are superb! although a bit expensive. It was a whole day trip and they took us back to the ship, it was a wonderful experience, we highly recommend booking this tour.
The tour was really good. We went to Pompeii first and spent 2 hours there with a tour guide. The guide is a must if you go there as they tell you about life in Pompeii before the eruption. It was very interesting. Then we had lunch there. We had a choice of Margherita Pizza or spaghetti. We had the pizza which was good. Then we drove to Sorrento where we had an hour to wander through the shops. Very pretty town. So the tour was a nice contrast of old and new.
an ethusiastic guide made the trip to Pompeii very interesting. It was very hot, so if you are doing this trip, don't forget a hat and plenty of water. The trip to sorrento had some gorgeous views over the bay of naples.
The tour guide in Pompeii has very good English. She showed us every details about the history of Pompeii. The trip is well organized.
The tour guide in Sorrento is another girl. She is also friendly and tried to satisfy each customer's needs. There are 4 people in this small group in Sorrento and I'm the only passenger from cruise ship. So the driver sent me first to the port in order to catch the ship abroad time. I am very satisfied with this trip.
Great tours. Did this rather then doing it off the cruise ship. Easy peasy!! Both tours were outstanding.
We enjoyed our tour in Pompeii, and Sorrento. The tour guide in Pompeii was excellent, provided us with very thorough information on the history of Pompeii. The lunch was delicious, choice of pizza, spaghetti, lasagna with soda, beer or wine. We had a different guide to Sorrento, Maria, was not as friendly and knowledgeable, beautiful scenic drive to Sorrento, tasted and bought Limoncello to take home.
Wonderful tour. Our guide was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend

Great trip. I would do it early I. He day because pompano got very hot by noon.
Maria and Andre were FANTASTIC tour guides! They were easy to understand, had in depth knowledge of the area AND the pizza lunch was an oversized delicious individual pizza plus your choice of wine or soda!
Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Maria was the BEST! I had a Wonderful time in Italy and enjoyed each excursion that we did! Very informational and again, a lot of walking. I didn't really care for the Pizza in Naples the sauce was not good to me but that's a matter of opinion I know other's who loved it. The time we had to eat was a bit rushed, but other tours were coming to eat as we were leaving. I would not do this tour again, but it's definitely a must do for a first time!!!!!
Our tour guide Maria was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Having a tour guide in Pompeii is recommended. We had lunch in Pompeii , the worker in the restaurant were very nice and welcoming. Then we headed to Sorrento , we were able to take pictures at Amalfi coast. Sorrento is such a beautiful place. We went for a lemonchelo tasting which is popular in Sorrento. The tour overall was really good, highly recommended including our tour guide Maria.
Sorrento is a MUST go! My tour guide is very knowledgeable and professional.
This was the best tour of our trip. Our tour guide was very informative, friendly and easy to talk to.
Our tour was wonderful! Our tour guide Maria Louisa was very informative and sweet. We began our journey with a guided tour for 2 hours in Pompeii. Pompeii is gorgeous and not to be missed in Naples. Then we had a delicious pizza lunch which was unexpected since tours normally take you to touristy spots. Afterwards we traveled along the gorgeous coast line to Sorrento. Due to time constraints we did not have a lot of time in the city of Sorrento but just enough to get a feel for it. Maria took us for free Lemoncello tastings which is a must visiting Italy. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Andre was so funny and interesting. He showed us the city of Pompey and learn many interesting things. Went to Sorrento and tested the Limonchelo and walk around the city and learn about Italy. I wish I could do it again.
We had 2 guides for our visit. One for Pompeii and one that met us at the dock and toured Sorrento. Both were great, however Christian A., who showed us Pompeii was above and beyond great. His personality was captivating and truely made the tour an interesting experience. We had a GREAT time. Would do this again in a heartbeat.
Bus was on time, well maintained and comfortable. Maria and Suzy were our guides with Suzy handling Pompeii and Maria conducting the Sorrento portion. Both were interesting and animated in their commentary and we had a great time. Would highly recommend using you guys in the future.
this shore excursion so good , I was a little unsure about booking a excursion over the internet .but my fears were short lived as we were greeted by a well spoken English tour guide. tour of Pompeii was fantastic with the guide telling us more about Pompeii than I though I had learned form books etc. the meal was bigger than we could eat and Sorrento was the only place to be in the world that afternoon many thanks viatour
Both our tour guides were highly knowledgable and gave amazing history lessons. I would do this tour again. Well worth it.
Only thing was pizza stop was ehhh
