Our driver was not only on time, but early to pick us up for the shuttle to Pompeii. He was friendly and helped us book another shuttle to the train station for the next day. I would absolutely book this shuttle again.
Unfortunately our train from Rome was an hour late and our shuttle had already left. We understand this wasn't the tour operators fault and they couldn't wait but it was a lot of money to pay for nothing. There were no alternative seats and we were advised the only way to now get to Pompeii was to take the regional train. Although this took about 40 mins and was very crowded it was a very interesting and scenic ride. If you have time this is probably a better and much cheaper way to travel to Pompeii. The shuttle did pick us up from Pompeii and the return trip was only about 15 -20 mins which was appreciated after a big day of walking.
