Although the mansion was historically interesting, it was located in the midst of the Belmont University campus. I thought there might be more grounds to explore. students were coming and going at the time of our visit. Gift shop was unique.

Interesting piece of history, but the tour guide was difficult to hear because he was wearing a mask. It was a presentation on the first floor, then we were left to tour the house on our own. It would have been nice to have a guided tour to hear stories about each room and bring it life.

Beautifully restored with original pieces as well. Interesting story about this interesting woman and her tragedies as well. Very friendly staff, especially the man in the gift shop! Beautiful grounds with music row nearby, which made for the perfect stroll afterwards. Dead ends into a great little brewery too!
