The ATV ride though the Bahamas was the best part of our trip. We were picked up from our resort on time and the hosts did a great job making sure we had fun. Very entertaining and informative.

Disappointed

I was really disappointed for the amount this tour cost it really was not worth the money. The ATV'S were rough to say the least mostly broken lights and hard to change gears. The actual trip did not include ANY forts which I understand but don't sell a trip which has false information! We were taken to an alley full of people selling overpriced souvenirs out of the trunk of their cars because we were ahead of schedule but we didn't make it to the beach and we didn't get a tropical drink at the end of the tour. Lunch was awful told them I couldn't eat gluten so they made me a sandwich! As much as I love to support the Bahamian people I would have to say don't book this trip if you don't want to be disappointed. It is being sold as something it's not! I don't know where they got the picture from for this tour but it's nothing we saw!!

ATV that doesn’t get you muddy and nasty is always yaaayy. EJ & Bobby Shmurda were very friendly and good tour guides. We drove on the street, stopped at multiple locations to learn a little history, tasted wine, free lunch, rum cake sample, then a free rum cake. It was soo worth it. You will be tired afterwards but it’s fun!! Totally recommend!!

GREAT EXPERIENCE

The best excursion that we have EVER been on. EJ and the other tour guides can’t remember their names were just incredible. We wanted to do an excursion for our honeymoon and I’m so happy we did. Me and my wife loved it. As soon as we booked we got a phone call from Samuel. They picked us up yesterday from the Riu on paradise island. We were worried at first about taking taxi because they add up fairly quickly but they offered pickup and drop off. They were friendly and just went above and beyond in every aspect of the tour. It is no fluke that they have great reviews. I NEVER do reviews for anything. I had to for them because it was just a phenomenal tour. THANK YOU GUYS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Uhm what just happened?
Christin_P

I’ll just tell you what happened and you can decide if this is the trip for you. “EJ will pick you up at 11:40 in an open air buggy, island style” At 11:45 a very nice woman in a car rolls up with the windows up, AC on, another couple in the car, (so, opposite of what we expected), but she knew our names so we masked up and went with the flow. She drives us like a stunt driver to a car lot surrounded by chain link and two levels of razor wire. There is no office or building on the lot, but two sketchy open shipping containers (some of us were ushered into them during a quick rainstorm while waiting for the rest of the group to show up. Yes.) Check in was taking pics of our driver’s licenses or passports. Eventually everyone shows and we’re all instructed how to use the ATVs. I hop on mine and put on a helmet that looks like it’s been through a couple wars, start it and my screen flashes some words I didn’t catch, found out later it was saying MAINTENANCE REQUIRED. Yikes. We then find out my gears are all off by 1, so when the shift knob seems to be in gear, it’s actually in N, etc. BUT I’m assured it’s fine and we just worked around it. Mhm. The ATV got me from A to B and nothing exploded though! A few in our party were basically playing bumper cars with the ATVs (seriously don’t think they knew how to operate motor vehicles) but nobody was injured. Except some planters in front of the “tea factory” and some break lights. We went down and up Queen’s Staircase, and they explained the fort but we didn’t see or visit it. We went to a “tea factory” with teas that were “stronger than viagra” or “3000x better than chemo” ha, but they also had delicious refreshing hibiscus tea that you could get “loaded” with rum and it was a great place to buy local Bahamian sauces, coffee, teas, etc. We went to the John Watlings distillery where I think we were supposed to get a free drink?, but it wasn’t super clear or organized so we ended up paying $15 each for a tasting of a total of about 2 shots’ worth of rum (4 different small pours) which was delicious! We loved the 6 year, and the 5 was flavorful and smooth. The distillery was nice, historic, everyone was friendly! Then we went to the rum cake factory, delicious rum-soaked pound cake (authentic Bahamian staple at holiday tables), tried a couple free samples and we each got a free mini rum cake. Then we pulled into a parking area *near* the beach and ate boneless wings and fries from Charley’s Philly Cheesesteaks (not exactly local cuisine) while sitting on our ATVs. (That was the beach break? Why did I wear my suit under my clothes? Lol) Then we drove back to the razor wire lot and they took us all back to our respective hotels. End Scene.
