I would definitely recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Will, was AWESOME. I visited Nassau as part of a cruise with my daughters and really wasn't interested in visiting the ever-popular waterpark attraction in Nassau I won't name it, but you can probably guess what I mean. I read great reviews about this tour, but was a little worried beforehand about whether my daughters would resent me for taking a more cultural/historical approach to our visit...They LOVED the tour as well.
Will really made us feel like locals. He's very popular around town and it was great to see so many people stop to say hello. You can feel his love for his hometown and appreciation of the history I don't know if I could speak such details of my own hometown. The food was great. I don't know what else to say, except that if you haven't already, be sure to take this tour!
Murphy was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Nassau! Everything was great, from the food to the locations taken. Would recommend to others who likes history and food!
Captain Ron was wonderful. He engaged with every participant on our tour. I was impressed with all the history along with foodie destinations we experienced. I would definitely recommend taking this tour with Captain Ron
This tour was wonderful! Captain Ron was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the city and culture of Nassau along with its history. He was very personable and entertaining. We were able to see the old Episcopal church and a few nearby hotels. The food along the tour was awesome, especially the Bahamian Kitchen. They even sent us the recipes for our favorite foods! We tasted foods such as stewed chicken, conch fritters, handmade chocolates, different drinks and Greek salad. There were many others as well. All the places we visited were within walking distance of the cruise port. We highly recommend Captain Ron and this tour. You won't be disappointed.
This tasting tour was amazing! Captain Ron is the best tour guide in Nassau. Delicious, fun, and informative. We learned about Nassau and its food, ate gelato, chocolates, rum cake, conch fritters and chowder, a Bahama Mama, and more! All while visiting hotels, restaurants and a variety of sites. Barbara
Captain Ron was fantabulous!! He most definitely knew the neighborhood and did a great job of helping us to feel welcome and a part
We are both foodies so of course we enjoyed that immensely! Thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of the people, struggles and experiencing their successes!! Hats off to all of the owners and kudos for their love of their country!! Don't miss out on sharing a Bahama Mama with Max!!! A real treat!! The art, the lore, the restoration, the craftsmanship and great food all in one tour!! Favorite part Captain Ron of course!! Money well spent and would do all over again!!
Amazing tour! So much good food and you learn about the island's history too. Highly recommend
Captain Ron was wonderful with all his stops and explaining all the history and inside stories of Nassau. The six stops were great with the tastings large enough to more than cover what you would eat for lunch. I recommend the late morning tour to enjoy Nassau without the heat of the day making the walking too hard, and enjoying the food of the Bahamas.
Captain Ron provided a great tour. He spoke about the history and culture of the Bahamas in a friendly and innovative way. The stops along the way provided a wide variety of the local foods and drinks. This was the best 3 hours we ever spent. This will be on out to do list on our next trip.

Fantastic Cultural and Tasting Food Tour in the Nassau. My family and I total of 5 people had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed having Captain Ron as our tour guide. Could have not asked for a better one. He is kind, knowledgeable and passionate about the food and culture of the Bahamas. Our first stop was the Bahamian Cooking Restaurant, which has been opened for 30 years. Captain Ron taught us about the history of the restaurant, how to prepare a conch and also introduced us to the lovely owner of the restaurant. We had the most amazing local lunch, in which you could taste the love of the cooking. We started with conch fritters--- AMAZING!! flavorful steamed chicken, spicy baked macaroni, rice and pigeon peas, and coleslaw. We wrapped up with fresh lemonade. We visited the Graycliff chocolate and icecream stores delicious. Culturally we toured the Graycliff cigar factory workers are from Cuba, tour of Christ Church Cathedral, The Towne Hotel where we met Max will keep this as a surprise! Again a huge thank you to Captain Ron, who treated us like family :
