We had a very nice experience. The catamaran ride out was about 45 minutes and very enjoyable. The crew consisting of JJ, Amigo and others were professional and kept everyone in good humor. They took us out to a reef and the snorkeling was quite good. We saw lots of colorful fish, and the crew kept safety in mind all the time. My wife was snorkeling for the first time and she was able to enjoy herself after the first few anxious minutes. My son cut his toe climbing up the ladder, and the crew immediately filed a report even took a photo of the offending piece of equipment and administered first aid. We had boarded the boat at Paradise Island, and we got off at Prince George with easy access to downtown Nassau. Very enjoyable overall and a good value.
It was one of the best weve taken. They had men in the water with us at all times, plus every few minutes they would ask if everyone was doing ok. They gave us the hand signals we were to use to reply! Then we had a beautiful scenic trip back!
They met us near the ship, boat was all that they said it would be, a clean cat, Some shaded areas, crew was very helpful. Tour was not over loaded like some of the others you could see. Highly recommend.
Great time on this tour! While we were a little delayed dealing with the chaos of multiple cruise ships arriving at the same time once we departed things were smooth as butter! The captain and crew was excellent---smooth, short ride to the snorkeling site. Good equipment and very safety conscious including accompanying snorkelers in the water. Plenty of time in the water with a good assortment of things to see. Added treat was visit by local boater who provided fresh coconut water to those interested in partaking. Ride back to dock was great--liberal rum punch and Carribean music provided a good atmosphere for friendly conversation. Arrived back in time to do some local shopping as well before heading back to cruise ship. Entire tour lasted about 3 hours so tailor made for short visit.
We went to a reef where we saw MANY amazing colored fish. The crew fed the fish from the boat too which made it even more exciting as we were snorkeling in the water around the boat. It was a gorgeous day to be on the catamaran and out on the water. I would do definitely do this again.
This was a really fun excursion! Although the catamaran arrived later than the scheduled time, we were still able to enjoy snorkeling for an hour. Unfortunately, the water was a bit murky, but this was to be expected because of hurricane Matthew. It was still very enjoyable regardless! LJ and the rest of the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Would recommend!
We loved our snorkeling trip! The crew was very friendly yet professional. They took their time to make sure everyone had the right gear and felt comfortable in the water. Even though other boats were at the same snorkel site, the coral reef was large enough for all to have a great snorkel experience. Would definitely use them again.
Great snorkeling site. The ride to the site was great, staff was friendly and everything worked out great. Would recommend to anyone looking to snorkel and sail on a great catamaran.
Crew was excellent. Very efficient. Would highly recommend this snorkeling trip.
The only bad part was that it took a lot longer to start the trip . They told us to be there 15 min before the trip time that was 9 am. It took at least 45 min wait to be on the boat.
Overall it was a nice trip and a lot of fish to watch , the staff was friendly little careless but nothing bad.
I recommend this if you want to do something fine on the shore.
Everyone we had two 18 year olds with us enjoyed this tour! The ride on the sail boat was very nice and the snorkeling was a lot of fun! We did see many fish in the snorkeling area. The tour meeting spot was easy to find and drinks were provided after our snorkeling! On the down side, the tour left really late and we had to wait quite a while for the boat to arrive on island time I guess!. Also, the boat was very crowded! Overall, if the wait and crowd don't bother you, I would recommend this tour!
Awesome staff and plenty of time to snorkel. The day I went was cloudy and very cool but you can't control that. Otherwise, lots of fun and worth doing!
The boat was fine, with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating and deck area. The crew was very safety conscious. The equipment was good, and the snorkeling was great. The reef seems to be in very good health, and there was a tremendous amount of fish diversity. The music they played could have been better, more Islandy and relaxing, and the rum punch was awful. Still, it was a very good trip and totally worth doing.
The beginning was very chaotic. I followed the directions and waited at the green gate while hundreds of cruise ship passengers went through to their tours. We almost gave up after waiting almost 40 minutes, and then a representative finally came up to us. Should have gone with Carnival.
The boat, while a little old and showing its age/use, is large enough to handle big groups. It was very stable and we always felt safe. The captain and staff were very friendly and accomodating and did a good job of getting everyone into the water and assisting on the exit. The trip back from the snorkel site was under sail and nice. The only partial complaint we had was the condition of the gear. The fins and snorkels were fine, but the masks were a little dated. One suggestion I would make would be to let out a return line behind the boat to assist with getting back to the boat.
There is potential for this to be a good trip, but the tour we were on was bad. The weather the day of the tour was rainy, cold, and windy. The crew acknowledged this but still continued the tour. The ocean conditions made it almost impossible to snorkel for most of the passengers and the crew made very little effort to assist. There was only a quick run-through of the equipment and any questions asked of the crew were met with responses that made it seem as if the customers were inconveniencing them. I've been on snorkel trips before and this was very sub-par in comparison.
Not on time.
2 hours or more riding the motor boat no sailing due to ??? including pick up/drop off folks from cruises not fair to tourists on the island, 45 min snorkeling with a dozen of other boats passengers. See only legs ans fins under water. Fish swam away, scared of hundreds humans around them, coral damaged, killed by so many snorkelers.
Worse snorkeling trip we had.
