Jamie was outstanding - knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. In many respects the history of rum is the history of the Bahamas and Jamie tied it all together very nicely. The perfect way to spend an afternoon in Nassau: touring pubs, a distillery and a wine shop while chatting about pirates and prohibition. Quite entertaining!

Orchid was so laid back and smooth... like some of the rum we tasted. I appreciated the history that came with our tasting. I also enjoyed the varied sites - the bar, the home/artist exhibit, the hotel, the chocolate factory and ice cream stops, and of course the distillery. The walking was easily managed no one fell down and it was a great way to experience some of the local culture. ARGH!

This tour was AWESOME! Orchid, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Nassau, the Bahamas, and all of the rums we got to enjoy! If you like to experience the places you visit past sitting on a tourist-y beach, this tour is for you. 10/10 would do again.

This was an awesome tour! It wound up being a private tour for just our group of two, since no one else booked at the same time, so it was perfect.

Take a minute to check google maps before you go to figure out how to get to the restaurant where the tour starts, since it's a little bit stressful to venture out into Nassau without a great map. And remember the tour is local time, not ship time that caused us a couple minutes of panic that morning.

Our tour guide, Jason, was wonderful - great at telling stories about Nassau and pirates and rum runners!

The drinks on this tour are really generous - you start with a flight of rums right off the bat so you can try different colors and ages and spices, then you get a full size cocktail to take on the first part of the tour. On your next stop, you get the best conch fritters and a rum cupcake which is amazing and I'm still thinking about and get to see some local artists' work.

Continuing on, we saw a lot of the historic buildings in Nassau, ate gelato, chocolates, a chocolate rum ball with an extra shot of rum, and finished up at the John Watling distillery where we got more information about the history of Nassau and the rum-making process.

It was a great tour and a ton of fun! Fantastic for adults who like rum and history buffs of all ages!

Our tour guide, Lindsay, made this tour come alive. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour both fun and educational. Her knowledge of pirate history and her tales of Nassau's more famous pirates including two female pirates made the tour extra special. We highly recommend this tour.

Did the Rum and Food Walking Tour on Saturday, 5/14/16 with Lindsey as the tour guide. Great experience with a wonderful tour guide. Learned alot of interesting facts as we visited sites off the beaten path. I will look for similar tours on my next vacation. A real treat.

This tour was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. It was very interesting to hear about things regarding the history of Nassau and the rum industry which we'd have never known about if we hadn't taken the tour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nassau.

Orchid was a great tour guide, very pleasant and friendly. She told us about the interesting history not only about rum and the food but the history of Bahamas. I would do this tour again definitely.

My husband and I saw this trip rated on Trip Advisor and thought it would be a great way to see different points of interest in Nassau during our cruise and of course drink rum. We were very impressed with Orchid and had an amazing time walking through the downtown area. She is an excellent tour guide and has an obvious passion and love for sharing her island. Would definitely take more tours through this company.

Our tour guide was EXCELLENT! She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She found each of us at the starting location and offered to take us back to that location if we wanted, even though the ending location was at the distillery. The tour included a lot of historical information and a few of the local sites. Not recommended for someone with mobility issues, but you do NOT have to be in good shape to take this tour and enjoy it. The tastings, cocktails, and candies were all great and fun to learn about.

Fun alternative for the beach weary. After a little confusion we were able to locate our meeting space and were greeted by the great bar tending staff. Our guide Jason arrived and shared a lot of the history of Nassau and we found his stories informative and fun. The tour starts with 5 shots of various rum followed by a yummy Bahama Mama cocktail from the bar. You are then escorted to a nearby art studio for delicious conch fritters and a rum cupcake. If I had to change one thing about this tour it would be this stop. The art studio is small and not very interesting, I think they could find a more lively place to stop at. After the art studio it is a short walk to the Graycliff Mansion. The mansion has been transformed into a historical resort and is very beautiful. You get to visit their cigar studio as well as their chocolate factory. This stop was the highlight of the trip for us. Next you visit a small shop for some yummy rum raisin gelato and then the tour continues on to John Watling's distillery. Here there is more history and a tour of the distillery. The tour ends in the distillery bar where you sample a final shot and a cocktail called the Rum Dummer. The tour made for a fun day and we really enjoyed ourselves. Only changes that could of made it a five star day would be to make the meeting location a little more prominent and perhaps select another location for the second stop. Our guide Jason had a great personality, good knowledge of the history and made the tour fun. Would recommend this tour to friends and family visiting Nassau.
