A gratifying and illuminating day spent in Delhi! The list includes just about all the historical and religious monuments that one needs to see in Delhi. It is a well-thought-out proposition — glad I chose it because it didn’t disappoint! My driver, Ramesh, arrived on time which was greatly appreciated. He was calm and pleasant, and a careful driver. My guide, Dolly, was the voice of experience - she provided just enough important facts without being overwhelming with detail. All I had to do was ask questions and she was very much prepared to provide the most convincing, if not factual, answer. I had a list of sites which I particularly did not want to miss — my local contact, Asif, got in touch with me in advance via Whatapp and arranged for the tour to be tailored to my preference. Apart from visiting beautiful, important monuments — the masala chai tea from a small kiosk round the corner and the rickshaw ride along Old Dehli on the way to a (not-to-be-missed) 100-year old tea, coffee, spice shop were a nice touch to an already fabulous day! And oh btw, lunch was sumptuous - reasonably priced and the restaurant was very cosy!

I just wanted to give you a heads up! That the tour itself and the sites and the driver were all great! However the tour guide was the worse we have experienced anywhere! He didn’t come with us most of the time or offer to take our picture. “ you go in and I will stay here “ was what we heard most. He seemed very disinterested and even annoyed at the fact he had a tour to do. He seemed to be upset that the tour was starting at 8 and not 9 or 10 as usual. We felt rush through a lot and convinced not to do other things. The whole time he seemed he had better places to be and was on his phone almost the time. I need to be honest! out our 4 India tours and over 30 internationally. This tour guide was the worst!
