5 star rating: Highly Recommended August 2017

This tour was DEFINITELY WORTH IT. Driver Sanju and tour guide Manoj were on point, accommodative, and genuinely great people. They made sure that the experience was an amazing one every step of the way.

Manoj was an incredible scholar of Hinduism and the history of India. He is so passionate about his work, he even scolded the Taj Mahal guards for being lazy on the job. Sanju drove fast but safely and saved time on a very long journey, stopping only to surprise me with a cup of tea.

After seeing the sites, I was looking for some antiques. Manoj did his best to call around and find places, but if you're looking something unique to buy, do yourself a favor and Google ahead of time...and don't let anyone dissuade you from going to your intended destination. I'm from New York City so maybe it's easier for me to buy Indian goods, but I've found that everyone tries to push you toward stores where you can buy common goods that can easily be purchased on the internet. This has literally been the only disappointing part of an absolutely incredible experience in this country.

Thanks again to Manoj and Sanju. You made my trip to India a memorable one.
