India Gate

Your 8-hour private tour begins with convenient hotel pickup at your New Delhi accommodation at 9am.

With your guide in the lead, make your first stop at the Jama Masjid Mosque to see the four towers, three gates, and the two 130-foot (40-meter) minarets made from striking red sandstone. Continue to Raj Ghat, a memorial to Indian hero Mahatma Gandhi. These first stops will be on foot; when you get tired of walking, you can make like a local and hop into a cycle rickshaw.

After a lunch break (own expense), visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then continue to Humayun's Tomb to explore the lush gardens, traversed by water channels. In your rickshaw, zip past other landmark government buildings such as the parliament and the India Gate.

This private tour ensures that you'll have personalized attention from your guide and the option to ask plenty of questions.

End your 8-hour tour with drop-off back at your Delhi accommodations.

4 star rating: Recommended April 2016

We had a thoroughly great day. Our guide was very knowledgeable but also gave us time and space to wander and expire on our own. Loved the Richshaw ride. Can't think of anything that I didn't like or agree with. Well worth doing this trip I think.
