Fantastic tour. Couldn't have asked for more! Taj Mahal visit with our extremely knowledgable and interesting tour guide, Sam, followed by lunch at an authentic restaurant in Agra. After lunch we visited a local shop selling gemstones, tapestry, ornaments etc. with the option to purchase. This was followed by a visit to Baby Taj and Agra Fort again with our guide. Throughout the whole day Sam was informative, fun and had answers to all our questions about the various places we visited. Travel between Delhi and Agra was comfortable and pick up was prompt.
Nice guide, very delicious food!
I am American and was in India for business with a free day at the end of my trip. I figured I must go see Taj Mahal. The tour was great, mostly because my guide named Deepesh was very knowledgeable, spoke English very well like he could have been US born and raised. Of course the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are amazing to visit by themselves, but it helps to have a good guide to tell the story makes it much better. Deepesh also knows the best photo spots and takes great pictures.
The tour operator also stopped to visit all his clients during lunch to greet the customers, make sure the tours were going well, and ask for feedback.
Super good tour right from the easy booking process. Thanks to Raveen my knowledgable guide for the truly epic Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Special mention too to Shakeel the best driver I and #39;ve had in my four visits to India! Thanks to everyone for looking after this lone female traveller incredibly well!
The tour was amazing! Agra Fort and Taj Mahal is something u don't wanna miss. I f you choose this tour ask for Naveen amazing guide!
My tour was fabulous and better than I could have ever imagine. Nadeem was my tour guide and he was so informative, knowledgeable, patient, and English was perfect and understandable better than any other tour person I have dealt with. I would definitely come back and utilize him as well as refer others to Viator and Nadeem as a tour guide!
Going to Agra only to see Taj Mahal is worth it. during my trip we visited Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. We didn't go to Baby Taj and Mahtab Bagh. I had lunch at 12, then I was taken to some workshop where i was told about different kind of Stones or put in the marble and how they make decorative tables and other stuff. then I was expected to buy something. Not forced but i could feel the pressure in the air. Not a good feeling especially when you pay quite a lot money for a trip like this, even more wheb you travel by yourself, like me. then we were to go to another show like this but my guide Naveen figured out that it was not my cup of tea. I don't believe that the guide and people from this kind of workshops dont cooperate. They do. Of course they do. Anyway, after that we just went back to Delhi and reached the city some time after 5pm i believe. much earlier than I expected.
The guide was so so. sometimes he sounded as if he was quoting a book guide. Polite i guess but did he have a choice? at times his megalomania-like feeling was too much for me. dunno, maybe that's the way he is. Anyway, Taj Mahal was splendid.
I wish I could have liked this more. The Taj is amazing, and my driver was great. But my guide started the day by being very friendly and informative. When he realized I was not going to buy any of the extra things he got silent and sullen and pretty much rude. It made for an awkward final couple of hours. He reminded me 4 times that his tip was not included in the trip, and then at the end he checked the amount I tipped him before getting out of the car. It was really rude considering there was a currency issue 1000 and 500 rupee notes had been banned just a week before. I would avoid this and go with someone else.
