My sister and I did the tour this past Mardi Gras weekend on Monday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was extremely cold out but that didn't stop our group of 15. Ms.Bee was extremely knowledgeable about AHS and the history of New Orleans . I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks again Ms. Bee!
We truly enjoyed this tour focusing on the history of New Orleans while weaving it through the filming of American Horror story based on New Orleans. Our tour guide Bea was knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout the tour. This tour combines a walk in the French Quarter which was also on our list of things to do while visiting. I recommend this tour for any fans of the AHS.
Get walk through NOLA and get way to get into the cemeteries. Enjoyed learning about some of the off the beaten path parts of NOLA's history.
I highly recommend this tour to any American Horror Story fans! This is an excellent way to see the sites and learn about the true stories of the characters and the history behind them and New Orleans! The tour guide I do forger her name unfortunately was very patient with us with answering our questions and allowing us to take all the photos. She carries around an iPad to show us directly the scenes we are seeing in real life. Absolutely fantastic!
We were lucky enough to be in a small tour group of 6. Bea was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the AHS portion but of the history of many places in New Orleans. She was informative and entertaining. We actually went over the original 2 1/2 hours scheduled which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Bea was a wonderful guide. Not only did she show us the American Horror Story tour if locations, She has a wealth of knowledge on New Orleans and it's history.
What can I say Bea the tour guide is amazing. She knew everything about AHS The Coven and had stills from the show which really helped to jog your memory of the story line. Bea also provided other information about the areas visited which was great and really interesting. If you love AHS you will absolutely love this tour. We did.
Bee was great, enthusiastic, informative, and funny. We had a great time and wouldn't change a thing.
A really great tour with Bea. She was very knowledgeable and interesting the entire tour. She made sure we had time to get as many pictures as we wanted. I would recommended this Tour to any American Horror Story fan.
I loved this tour! It was a freezing cold day, in the low 30's, but our tour guide Bea was still fantastic! She braved the cold with us, didn't rush us, and changed things up so we weren't too cold but didn't miss out on anything. We saw several sites from American Horror Story: Coven, as well as a diner used as inspiration in American Horror Story: Freak Show. We saw other landmarks including the rumored House of the Rising Sun, and the tomb of Nicholas Cage. We learned a good amount of history too including the history of slavery in New Orleans, the impact of Hurricane Katrina, voodoo in New Orleans, just to name a few. If you're an AHS fan I would recommend this tour! If you've never watched the show, I think you would still enjoy the walk, the sights, and the history lesson.
Bee was absolutely fantastic! She knew all about the show and the characters as well as very interesting history about the French Quarter and New Orleans in general. She was fun and patient with our many questions. Everyone should sign up for this tour!
The tour was amazing and my guide Bea was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable not only with aspects of the show but with other areas involving old New Orleans. I learnt a lot!
Bea really knew her stuff about American horror story. I really love that she incorporated other parts of historical data on this tour...you can really tell that Bea loves what she does. Thank you again New Orleans so awesome.
Bea was AWESOME! She was so knowledgeable and took her time really taking us through the gems of New Orleans and how it related to the show, pointing out the specific places featured in the series. She also shared tidbits with us that did not pertain to AHS but to New Orleans history as a whole which was an added bonus! We loved the tour and now only would recommend it but also do it again ourselves.
Awesome tour. Our guide, Bea, was amazing. Told us lots of things about AHS, pointed out where everything was filmed. Gave some historical information as well. Answered all questions we had about AHS and also let us know where to find other areas that were not part of the tour. If you are an AHS fan, I strongly suggest this tour!
FANTASTIC!!! We learned so much about New Orleans history...Our 16 yr old daughter enjoyed it as well. I highly recommend this tour!
I couldn't recommend this tour more! The tour guide, Miss Bea, was so knowledgeable and friendly, making it such a great tour experience! She gave a great overview of New Orleans history, mixed in with ghost, vampire, voodoo and witch tales of the area, and of course with the focus being on American Horror Story! I'll definitely be taking others on this tour next time I'm in New Orleans :
This tour was amazing. I booked it as a surprise for my wife and she absolutely LOVED it! Bea went above and beyond as our tour guide. We can't recommend her enough - she was wonderful!
When my fiancé and I booked this tour we were given directions to follow to meet our tour guide. There was some miscommunication with the location so we thought we were not going to be able to take the tour. Our tour guide Ms. Bea went above and beyond her regular duties to find us and make sure we were able to have our tour. I am so glad she did! Ms. Bea was an AMAZING tour guide! It was just my fiance and I so I felt like it was a private tour. She was so knowledgeable about all things N'awlins and not just with the filming locations of the show. She was extremely informative not just about one of my favorite seasons of AHS, but of the rich history of New Orleans. There was not a single question we asked that she was not able to answer. She has such a wonderful, welcoming personality that you feel as though you are touring with a friend. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone or any tour guided by Ms. Bea! 3
Wear comfortable shoes!
Bonnie was great very knowledgeable! I really felt spoiled b/c I did other tours and they were not as knowledgeable as her. She gave all these wonderful facts about NOLA. It was more of a NOLA tour with bits and pieces of American Horror story pieces thrown in BUT I enjoyed every part about it b/c I learned the most from this tour of all the others Ive ever did. Loved it! Make sure you wear good walking tours b/c you walking for the entire 2 hours!
This was such an amazing tour! Not only did we get to see locations where the show was filmed, but we also got a history lesson. Our tour guide was WONDERFUL! We will def reach out to her for future trips. She was so knowledgable of the city's history! By far this was our favorite thing we did on our trip.
Our tour guide was lovely!
We got a private guided tour of the major sites from the show and some historical parts of the French Quarter. She was very knowledgeable and happy for us to stop, take photos, ask questions etc.
The tour instructions say to meet at Jackson Square which is quite large. Our tour guide had emailed us more specific instruction just before the commencement of our tour but unfortunately, I hadn't received them which caused a little confusion. As I didn't have wifi away from the hotel, I didn't receive these instructions until I returned. Would be helpful to have a specific meeting place for travellers without wifi and/or international roaming.
