buses run everywhere and take you all over the city
We bought the 3 day pass. Well worth to . We got in early and rode around learning the city until our room was ready. We used the other two days to do the included walking tours and get basic transport which we enhanced with a couple of RTA Jazzy passes.
We were first time visitors to NOLA and arrived early AM. We were booked in an AirBNB and were at a loss as to what to do with our luggage until check in. Just a recommendation, if you set up luggage storage at the main depot and give out that address so we could use with Lyft or Uber to get there it would be great. I used a new service, BagBnB, that charged me 6 to leave my bag at a participating shop in the French Quarter. This worked out great but I had to coordinate getting there and back to get my bag on day 1. It would have been easier to stop and store at your main depot.
An excellent way to see all New Orleans has to offer. All important areas are visited. You have the luxury to do what you want on your own schedule makes this tour relaxing and very informative.
Of course, I had a very fantastic time in New Orleans. I grew up going there every summer and every Christmas so that my Mom could see her Mom, siblings and other relatives. When I go to New Orleans, I stock up on the things I need to make my Gumbo, Jambalaya and Etoufee'. My niece and I enjoyed the Quarters, the market, music at Congo Square. Had fun buying art, took a horse and buggy ride. The Hop on Bus is great, no worries about parking, driving or getting lost. Great shopping on Canal St, Magazine St. and Royal St. I even love the names of the streets in New Orleans, Treasure Street, Pleasure Street, Diamond, Music St. and Humanity. One of a kind city and my 2nd home.
Had an amazing time in New Orleans! The hop on hop off bus is the only way to see the city. There are so many narrow one way streets that driving isn't easy. The buses take you to many well known sites and you are within easy walking distances to many others. Loved walking in the French Quarter!!! Also enjoyed the WW11 museum. Don't forget beignets at Cafe du Monde. Go early in morning to avoid long lines
Hop-On Hop Off tour was great! Was a good way to get around a city we were unfamiliar with. The tour guides were awesome and very informative about telling us about the city. We have done Hop-On Hop-Off tours in other cities - it's a great way to get around. Would highly recommend!
This is absolutely the very best way to get an overview of the best of NewOrleans, including the cemetery tour was wonderful and the bus dropped us off at the WW2 museum which is not to be missed!!!!
We have done hop on hop off tours in many countries and have always had a great time. This was no different, lots to see lots to learn.
The bus tour enabled us to see the entire city with a knowledgeable guide. Be aware that the entire route takes 2 hours to complete. Be ready to take notes- our guide mentioned several local favorites- too many to remember without writing them down! I highly recommend this tour!

This is the best way to view the city, not to mention the least expensive. You get to see everything!
