My husband and I loved everything about this tour. Ozzie picked us up right on the dot. The van was ecxceptionally clean and cool. Our tour guide treated us like he had known us forever. He was so friendly and knowlegable about NOLA. We were sad that the tour wasn't longer but we feel he hit the high spots and the low spots explaining as we went. We would definitely recommend this tour if you have limited time and want to feel relaxed and learn much about the area. Thanks Ozzie!!! You were awesome!! Blessings from WV!!

This tour was the high point of my trip. My tour guide was Wanda, a refreshingly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate New Orleans native. She knows this city, it's culture, it's history and it's people!
She is also very experienced at driving around the city and the surrounding areas as well. There are many streets under major construction and in some cases they were impassable, but she negotiated alternate routes like the pro she is.
I highly recommend Wanda's tour!

Our family had a great experience on this tour. Ozzie was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about his tour and the city of New Orleans. The pick up service at our hotel was much appreciated. Great for adults and kids who want to see and learn about New Orleans. Great experience!

I found this company to be extremely courteous and helpful, and the tour was great! When I arrived at the airport, my plane had been delayed and it was clear I would miss the 2 p.m. tour start-up time I had booked. I called in and the man I spoke with was more than happy to shift my tour to the next morning. Although it was raining and there were tornado warnings!, the tour went on as planned and it was extremely interesting and informative. New Orleans has such a rich and colorful history. Three-hour tour, just long enough to get a feel for so many things. Highly recommended.

The small group allowed us to have more conversations and learn much more about the history of New Orleans. We were visiting NOLA on a conference and didn't have much sightseeing time, so this tour was a gem! Some of us decided on that trip that we would be back to visit within a year or two no later. Our Guide was great! We certainly left with a balanced view of NOLA and saw the treasure that it is!

This was an amazing tour! We really enjoyed the small group and personal stories tied in with rich New Orleans history. Ozzy Jr. was knowledgeable and created a relaxing atmosphere, as if you were visiting an old friend! He was eager to share information and suggestions for unique food experiences. Do not miss this tour if you are a first time visitor to New Orleans. Ozzy even sent us some great photos, which will definitely add to our incredible memories of this trip. Thank you Ozzy!

The excursion was informative and amazing! My wife and I had the time of our lives! Ozzie was not only passionate but as we stated in the trip, is an excellent ambassador about both the history of New Orleans but also of hurricane Katrina as well. To show you the mark of the man, when we told Ozzie that we had nothing else planned, he volunteered to extend the tour an extra hour and we gratefully accepted his hospitality. All this was done at no extra cost but made for a memorable excursion! All in all, it made for a memorable introduction to our stay in New Orleans!

A great relaxing trip as you sit back in the AC and take in the sites and history. Then surprising half way through trip we stopped for a bathroom break and a quick bite of local food delights. It is a great way to see the city sitting down. We passed places we went back to visit more in debt. The Sculpture Garden was a treat we never heard of before this trip and the Story Book Park will be a future place to take the grandkids. It was great getting an insiders tips of things to see.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our tour. We were taken through all the various districts of New Orleans and Ozzie our driver provided interesting information about everything. This was a great no-walking overview tour, and we saw lots of places we wanted to go back to on our own.

This was an excellent tour. The tour leader was extremely knowledgeable about the area having lived there and through Katrina. The bus was small and we were able to ask questions at any time and we could clearly hear all that was said. The only challenge was keeping the other travelers on track and not talking about their own personal stuff. The tour leader was also very flexible and offered to drop us off where ever we chose.

We toured with Ozzy Jr. as our guide/driver in March 2017. It was awesome! We were a small group 7 adults, 3 of which were from Canada, 2 from England, and myself and my husband from Baton Rouge, LA. Even though my husband and I were born and raised in the area, we learned so much from Ozzy, Jr. Our guests from Canada thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well. They happened to be visiting us when Katrina hit, so it was interesting for them to hear from Ozzy exactly what really happened. We traveled around the French Quarter, the 9th ward, the Garden District, one of the above ground cemeteries, and many other sites. Ozzy told us about the architecture, the history, the cemetery mausoleums the double ovens explanation was both startling and fascinating!, and City Park.
We stopped half way through the tour at City Park Morning Call and had beignets and café-au-lait. Very Yummy! We did the afternoon tour 2-5pm and Ozzy didn't have another tour scheduled after us, so he took his time thoroughly explaining everything. He answered our questions, showed us a book he had showing the map of New Orleans and where the levees were overtopped by storm surge which flooded New Orleans.
We definitely recommend this tour and if you request Ozzy Jr. as your guide, we are certain you will be amazed. We will be going back to do other tours of New Orleans with Ozzy Jr. Thank you Ozzy, Cindy and friends

I liked the small van and small tour group. Hotel pick-up was on time and the small van was able to zip around in the narrow streets and see areas that we would not otherwise have been able to see. Our tour included areas further out and then we actually went to one of the cemeteries and walked around and took pictures. Our guide happened to be an expert in this area and was so full of information. We could ask all kind of questions since we only had 10 people. Our tour lasted a good 3 hours and was excellent.

Ozzie Jr was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, articulate, and handled politically challenging questions about Katrina well. Father is a career tour guide and mother is a court reporter. The tour was better than we expected. We got a chance to see a wide variety of residential neighborhoods Upper Ninth Ward, Garden District, etc. as well as the tourist attractions. This is a tour you should do on your first full day because then you will know where to go back and explore. I also felt the smaller group of 15 allowed for some flexibility in the tour. We stopped at PJ's Coffee for a break. The price was just right. I would recommend this tour to people who only have a few days.
Thank you Oswald!

My husband and I have previously taken two city tours but this one was by far the best! We had two other couples with us this year and wanted them to experience a more intimate tour, one where we could freely interact with the driver and ask specific questions. Oz was the perfect guide, very personable and friendly. Because our group of six were his only passengers, we had the experience we were looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and very well informed! He gave us information which enabled us to fully understand the history and culture of NoLa. It was an extensive tour that took us through the French Quarter, Ward 9, Lake Ponchetrain, the Garden District he knew which celebrities lived in which mansion, the cemetery in Meterie, and many other sights! We stopped at a local café for a bathroom break and lattes. When asked, he gave us his favorite eateries and jazz venues. It was a fantastic experience!!

Interesting tour. This was the first tour we took on this trip and it gave you a good layout of New Orleans and the effects Katrina had on the city.

It was a great trip....would have given it a 10, but weather wasn't great. Tour guide, Wanda, was a 7th generation native and gave much background. Enjoyed seeing 9th Ward as well as all beautiful homes and she pointed out celebrity homes also. Had never been to the Park with Art Museum and it is definitely a go on my next trip. Love small tours and this was one of best. Wanda even dropped us off at our restaurant and saved us a cab ride. She gave us other things to see next time. Definetly a great guide.

This was a really wonderful tour, thanks to our guide Ozzy Jr. He is a New Orleans native who has joined the tour guide gig with his father. Ozzy's explanations were clear and interesting, and he answered questions in an engaging way that made the trip really enjoyable. We ended up feeling like we had made a new friend.

We started with a slow, thorough drive through the French Quarter, reviewing the architecture and history. Then we went through City Park, which looked beautiful, and on to Katrina sights: the lower 9th, Lake Pontchartrain strangely obscured by fog and the 21st street canal, which gave way during the storm. Ozzy clarified a lot about how the storm was so devastating, and why the lower 9th, which got only 4 feet of water, ended up worse off than the area right by 21st street, which got 10 feet.

We also spent some time at the fascinating Metairie Cemetary, finding out about the unique ovens used for burial in this hot, swampy climate. Our trip back towards downtown took us through the plush Garden neighborhood, filled with lovely houses.

This trip is a great way to start a stay in New Orleans! There is so much more to this town than Bourbon Street. And Ozzy has a million great recommendations about sights, restaurants, music and all the rest!
