If you are only in New Orleans this is a great way to get an overview of the area and to see the highlights the city has to offer. As it turned out, on the day we toured we were the only four on the bus...which made for a much more intimate and personal tour. As was advertised the smaller vehicle allowed us to go into areas and neighborhoods bigger vehicles cant get into. The driver was very knowledgeable and had a number of handouts to study on various people, events. That being said, it seemed he had a regimented agenda and our added questions seemed to throw him off a bit.
It was a good tour and I would recommend.

We learned a lot about the history of New Orleans, Katrina and the different areas of NOLA. We enjoyed the break at City Park.

This was a very good overview of New Orleans. Enjoyed the Katrina area and cemetery stops since this isn't the typical NO tourist stop. Only complaint was the van was not very comfortable and smaller windows

The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting but unfortunately her PA system did not allow us to hear all she was say as we were sitting at the back.

Excellent tour experience with knowledgeable tour guide. Really enjoyed this and would recommend it. Picked us up on time right from our hotel, van was comfortable, was not too long or too short. Got to see a little bit of everything. Felt the price was reasonable and learned quite a bit we did not know - felt like an interesting and exciting way to get a history lesson about an amazing city we have come to love. Would have preferred a little more time in the 9th ward. Overall was exactly as advertised and have no complaints.

It was hard to view and/or enjoy the tour sites from van. Tour guide could have slowed down and explain and/or pointed out points of interest more clearly. Half of the time we had passed area or was uncertain what guide was pointing to for view.

Ozzy Jr. was a knowledgable and personable tour guide. The tour was enjoyable and informative. Learned new information about Katrina and New Orleans history. Would book another tour w Oz Jr.

Yes we saw a lot and the guide was very informative but she lacked warmth and personality. Was more like a teacher and not much passion. Looking at the other reviews- I wish we had Ozzie. She apparently was around for Katrina because she shared some info. We would have liked to hear more about it

An interesting tour, although our guide didn't speak clearly and was difficult to understand due to his strong regional accent.

I felt like even though it was a three hour tour he didn't give us time to soak in the information he was giving us. I also would REALLY have liked to take pictures and when I asked Oz to slow down so I could take a picture he just said something about a tree further up and never let me get the picture. It wasn't as great as I wanted it to be but we did see several parts of the city.

This was billed as the Katrina Recovery Tour but there was remarkably little information about Katrina or the recovery beyond repeatedly telling us how many feet of water a particular section of the city was under during and after the storm. It is illegal to tour the Ninth Ward which would have been most interesting. Of course, one wants to respect the current residents' privacy, but it would have been helpful to be told in advance that we would not be able to see the area. If the goal was to see various parts of the city so you would know where to go back for a more extensive visit, then the goal was achieved. However, I felt that we received fairly minimal information about each section of the city and the value compared to the number of hours on the bus. Lastly, we were put in the back of the bus based upon chance and we both got motion sick. We asked to be moved to the front at the half way rest stop and the driver commented that a lot of people complain of getting sick back there. Don't sit in the back!!!

Our tour guide was great and we got to see some parts of NOLA that we would have otherwise missed. After the fact, I wish we would have taken a tour with a different vehicle. We were in the way back of a van, and the rough streets made the van rattle like crazy so we couldn't always hear the guide as she explained where we were and what we were looking at. Because of the angle of the roof, it was also difficult to see anything higher than what was just horizontal to the window so we didn't get a good look at some of the architectural details being pointed out.
