Great tour guide. She was very informative about history of the area as well as the unique geography of this great city. Wish we could have had a day long tour with her as her enthusiasm just made me want to see more of NOLA!

Our tour guide Marcia was fantastic you could tell she was very passionate about the architecture in the Garden District. She was great pointing out the differences in the styles used in each House. The tour took us into one of the mansions which was fantastic. Marcia pointed out the houses owned by different celebrities which was fun. It was a rainy day and Marcia offered everyone umbrellas and ponchos. The tour was great and the guide was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting New Orleans. Thanks so much

We were there on Dec 21, 2017. The garden district architecture is beautiful. We weren't very interested in the cemetery part of the tour, but it is part of New Orleans. Overall the tour was great. Our tour guide Midge was excellent.

The tour was an excellent opportunity to view the centuries old homes of the affluent of New Orleans along with an explanation of the personal interactions between the families that created the neighborhood. It was most enjoyable and entertaining!

Really enjoyed our tour of the beautiful Garden District. It was an entertaining as well as educating experience as I felt like I learned a lot from our guide, Mary E! Mary was a great story teller and was very patient answering questions. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about New Orleans.

Mary E. was our tour guide, and she did a great job! The Garden District is beautiful! Mary had great information and she shared it with enthusiasm. I have recently come off of a broken ankle and leg, so walking a long distance is still pretty hard, however, I found it quite easy to keep up!

This was a great introduction to New Orleans Garden District architecture. Our tour guide Mary E, a retired school teacher, was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to make our history lesson enlightening and enjoyable. We were impressed by her in depth knowledge of both significant facts and little known details. The interior tour of the Women's Opera Guild House was a delight.
Although only a small detour, the visit to the Lafayette Cemetery was well worth the time. It gave all of us in insight into the unique situation and means of burial necessary in the New Orleans area. A longer, more dedicated cemetery tour may be of interest if you wish to see the tombs of celebrities, but this is a great introduction.
We would certainly recommend this tour to anyone.

This was a highly enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was Daniel C. He's young and was a history major in college. He has an exceptional knowledge of New Orleans history. But it's not limited to old stories. He answered questions that weren't specifically related to the tour e.g., Katrina and the fortunes of local political leaders in its aftermath. Going in, I wasn't interested much in the cemetery. But it turned out to be the most fascinating part of the tour. We lucked out because the tour group that day consisted of just us and another couple. Apparently, most people prefer a lazy Sunday morning staying put after a hard Saturday night. So it felt like a private tour.

Brilliant walking tour - covered everything worth covering and even included a visit inside one of these gorgeous homes - could not fault anything about this tour. Even gave details out at the end of the tour for taking the tram and travelling even further afield within the area

We had a lovely tour in the Garden District. Our tour leader was fabulous. He had lots of local history to share about the District, its architecture and characters. We would have preferred more time in the Cemetery as it was short. This is my third tour with Viator and they have all been excellent. Wear comfy shoes as there are cobblestones and tree roots. Walking pace was also very good.

Marcia was the tour guide. She was great. She kept a steady but not too hectic a pace, told us about the architecture, the history and some of the interesting facts about the buildings we were looking at. I highly recommend Marcia as a tour guide and the tour itself.

A great way to discover this area! Our tour guide, Marcia, was phenomenally well informed and interesting, covering a wide range of topics and answering our questions. We were transported from the easy to find gathering point and then had a leisurely but extended tour around the area. The highlight was the included tour of the inside of a mansion! We were also offered refreshments before our return journey. Well worth the price!
