Such an interesting tour, especially if you request to go with Desi
Michelle_Z, Nov 2022
I was happy to see most of the animals I had hoped to.. an alligator, turtles, raccoons and so many different birds.. but our guide, Desi, gave us so much more. His knowledge of every aspect of the swamp.. every creature, every tree, every plant.. was just amazing and his passion was contagious. He gave me new perspective on what 'invasive species' can mean, shared a lot of info on how Indigenous people used the plants and trees there for medicinal purposes and even shared personal stories and pictures to tell us about his care for injured wildlife before re-release back to the wild. Desi made an already good trip GREAT!
Everything I Expected and More

A great afternoon out in the swamp. Captain Everett looked after us well and was very informed on all the aspects of the area, the wildlife and fauna. He knew where to find the alligators and arranged the boat so we could get some good pictures. Captain Everett took us to an area for a look at a creature we never expected to see and I won't spoil the surprise by telling you the name of the creature but seeing them did make for a great end to the trip.
Great tour

The tour was amazing. Our awesome driver, Joy, got us to and from the swamp safely. She had a wealth of knowledge about New Orleans and shared heartfelt stories about the city’s history with us. The tour itself was well organized. Check in was quick and easy. Our boat captain, Wil had encyclopedic knowledge about the swamp. He was also very funny and entertaining. The boat ride was pleasant and we saw a lot of wild life and learned a lot about the plants as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting New Orleans
Must do!
Whitney_J, Oct 2022
Absolutely loved this tour! It’s a good escape outside of the city to see more of what Louisiana has to offer! Our captain Zander, who is a local that lives right around the swamp, was awesome very knowledgeable and made sure to take his time so we could see all that we could. Plenty of alligators ranging from adult to babies, raccoons, egrets, a Cajun village living on the water, and more! Unfortunately the couple of hogs that live there stayed in hiding so we didn’t get to see them but the tour was still definitely worth it! Would highly recommend
Would do it again.

Awesome tour and tour guide (Mr. Sadi). He was very knowledgeable. We saw raccoons, alligators, turtles and different birds. Great price and plenty of time to see everything.
Beautiful Bayou

Our bus ride with Steve was very informative and enjoyable. The swamp tour and our guide Zander hit the ball out of the park. Zander’s knowledge of the swamp/bayou was interesting and fun. I loved seeing all the homes along the bayou, the beauty the bayou contains is beyond words. I hoped we would be seeing gators, but it was a real treat seeing the raccoon and pig. Best tour in New Orleans!
Great for families

Our family of 4 enjoyed the tour. It was a highlight of our New Orleans trip. We were able to get up close to see the alligators.
Awesome tour!

The tour guide was phenomenal! He was entertaining and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about New Orleans and its conservation efforts. Chris the wild boar was pretty cool. Due to the weather, we didnt get a chance to see any alligators in their habitat but it was great just the same.
Time in the bayou…..
Carl_F, Jul 2021
Seeing the swamp life and listening to the captain’s experiences was most memorable. It was exciting to see the captain provide bait for the alligators.
Great experience!

The tour guide followed covid safety protocols and made sure all guests felt safe. He was very knowledgeable about the area flora and fauna. He made sure people on both sides of the boat got to see everything. If you want to see lots of crocs, make sure to do your tour on a warm, sunny day!
Best Bayou Experience

More than what we expected
Joanne_B, Mar 2021
My kids werenin town visiting for Spring Break, wanted to explor Louisiana, decided to take this tour, needless to say, it was more than we expected. Our bus driver, Derrick (apologies if I get names wrong, I am bad with names) was informative and friendly. Our boat Captain, Everett was too informative, funny, and friendly. We were given time for pics and to ask questions. Will do this tour again.

Very memorable

This was great! It was to chilly to see any gators, but still very good. Seeing the village on the bayou was amazing simply because of its uniqueness. Our driver was well informed and good. We saw a couple of wild bores which was fun!
