By far on my lifetime most memorable experiences. They provide transportation to and from the swamp. Captains are very familiar with the area and are very knowledgeable.

Funny and experience guide. Cajun Encounters are very organized and get you to the tour with no hastle. You get to see the aligators, racoons and all sort of wild life. A must see when you come to New Orleans.

Loved this tour! Our tour guide was very informative. All of the tour guides did their best to get us close to the animals. We saw several alligators, a raccoon, wild pigs, and birds. We went at the end of February so it was just starting to warm. The alligators were out soaking up the sun.

My husband and I took our 7 and 13 year old grandchildren on this tour. For all of us it was the highlight of our vacation in New Orleans. We compared the quality of our guide, Jacob, to the guides on our African safari, who knew just where to spot the lions, cheetahs and other wild game. Jacob took us to see the amazing alligators, birds, wild hogs, and raccoons and vegetation of the swamp land. Thank you for making wonderful memories for all of us.

It pored rain the day of our tour in late March but we enjoyed the swamp tour anyway. Rain ponchos are available in the gift shop. Boat was covered but you'll still get plenty wet. Our tour guide was local and full of information about the river and bayou. We saw a gator and some wild hogs. All very well organized and professional.

This was an excellent adventure from start to finish. The bus pickup from the French Quarter was timely, with a driver who gave an interesting commentary as we were enroute to the swamp. Our guide on the swamp was an engaging young man named Judah who was knowledgeable, entertaining, and knew just where to go so we could see wildlife. It was a beautiful, warm spring day so turtles, egrets, raccoons, wild pigs, and alligators were all out and about and enjoyed by everyone on our boat. This is a smooth operation and I don't hesitate to recommend it for the entire family.
