Your elegant and educational culinary experience takes place in the Garden District. Choose a lunch or dinner session and make your way to the lovely 19th‐century Queen Anne home, where you’ll be greeted by a friendly guide for the 3.5‐hour session. Grab a seat at the kitchen bar for a close‐up view of the food prep area, and enjoy wine and beer service as your chef‐instructor gets started.
Your lesson includes the preparation of four classic Creole and Cajun dishes. Depending on the season, your menu may feature filé sausage gumbo, shrimp étouffée, trout meunière with shrimp and roasted pecans, banana bread pudding and more.
