This tour was fantastic! It was the first thing my husband and I did when we arrived in New Orleans. Our guide, Wanda, was great! We learned a lot about the area by walking around the streets and making various food stops along the way. Our food samples included Zapo's chips, mufaletta, pralines, gumbo, brisket, a Pim's cup cocktail, macaroon, and boudin ball. It was all delicious. We were able to get lots of pictures too. By the time we finished the tour, we had made some new friends.
This tour was definitely worth it and our guide was amazing! Elizabeth was fantastic!
This was a good introduction to New Orleans food. Our tour guide was entertaining and she brought us to some fun restaurants. I especially enjoyed visiting the French Market. We returned several times to see more of the market. My only caveat - do not eat ANYTHING before you take the tour: the tasting portions were enormous.
We had such a great experience with this tour. The history lesson was excellent and how it related to the cuisine was very educational. Our tour guide was entertaining, thorough, knowledgeable and the food sampling offered had great variety. I highly recommend this Food Walking Tour to anyone I know!
Although I am not much of a foodie, my wife is, but I enjoyed the stories behind the birth of the varous quisines and potions, and enjoyed the tastes also, plus the back room tours if you would of the restaurant areas.
I loved this tour. I love to cook and bake so it was right down my alley. This history was very interesting and so were the stores we visited. The best tastings have been scouted out and we enjoyed every one of them.
I recommend this to anyone who is new to the town. If you're lucky, you'll get Wanda as your tour guide. She was FANTASTIC. Her sense of humor and knowledge of the town was much appreciated. We enjoyed it so much that we doubled back to one of the restaurants after the tour.
What makes a great tour........A great tour guide. Wanda was awesome. Her energy level and love for her tourists was very evident in the way she took care of us. I came home sharing some of the French Quarter history which was remarkable. The food tastings and drinks were as rich as the information we received, it was all good, the beef brisket was a little over cooked but we still ate it. Thank you for that unforgettable experience which we will do again and I hope Wanda will be our tour guide.
Exceptional Susan was our guide and she is an A Plus. She was friendly, every knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food was wonderful. A great variety of choices and we left full. Don't pass up this trip, especially with Susa.

This tour was a delightful way to begin our New Orleans sight seeing. Our guide, Trish, was a bundle of energy and shared many anecdotes about life in the French Quarter. She spoke quite a bit on the history of the area, knew details about the architecture, and was happy to recommend the best places for XYZ you name it! The tasting tour alternated between a bite of something savory with a bite of something sweet. I took a card from each establishment so we'd remember where we had been and then, later on in our trip, we ended up going back to several of the restaurants for meals.
This was a fun walking food tour with some history of the French Quarter and New Orleans. Food was great. Our tour guide Elizabeth did a great joh. At many of the places you stop, they will give you 10 any purchase you make.

Philipe was great, amazing amount of information. Lots of food tasting, loved it.
This was a good tour. Trish was our guide and she was really nice. It was a little more history of the city than we excepted but it was very interesting. I would have liked to taste test a few more restaurants. One suggestion might be to give out a list of the places we visited. We tried to find them to go back for dinner and had a hard time remembering the names and addresses.
Our guide, Trish, was knowledgeable and full of energy. She gave fun facts, stories/legends and history as we went on our tour. Great way to try different stable New Orleans dishes while learning the history. Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely visit some of the stops on my next trip there.
Wanda our tour guide was fabulous. She not only was knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and the cuisine, she was entertaining as well. A definite must!
Wanda, and the food were sooooo amazing! We learned so much about the history of the food, and also learned that we absolutely love it all!
This was an AWESOME tour, both of the food tastes of the south and the city and the history, all rolled into one. Our tour guide, Wanda, was THE BEST. The tour took over 3.5 hours and we enjoyed every minute of it. We sampled gumbo, muffelatas, brisket, gelato and pastries, Pim's Cup drink and a few others that I cannot remember the name of. You definitely did not need another lunch that day. As well, she pointed out various restaurants along the way and described the history of the areas that we were walking through. I would definitely recommend this tour -the best that I have taken in a long time.

Best part of our trip to NOLA. Wanda, our guide, knew a lot, not only about the food, but also the history of NOLA. We tried many different dishes, and they were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Do this tour early in your trip and you will have a great list of choices of where to eat. There is a lot of walking involved so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans. Wanda, our guide was wonderful. She new not only about the food but the architecture of New Orleans an the history around it. A must do tour with lots of food to eat.
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! The food was fantastic and there was just enough history added in to make us feel like we knew the city a little better. Would highly recommend this!!
It was a great tour. The tour guide was full of information on the history of New Orleanss French Quarter. Plus we had great eats along the way. pralines, muffalatta, briskett etc. and those benots
Elizabeth did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable with information. Great personality and would definitely do another tour.
This was a great combination of fantastic food, great history, and a human Google named Trish. Trish was an entertaining tour guide who knew the cuisine, the history of the French Quarter, the Garden District, New Orleans, the Mississippi, etc. If you are taking this tour please ask for Trish.
Philippe, our tour guide, was a retired chef and the most knowledgeable and personable tour guide we had all week. This was such a great tour - you MUST be sure to include this in your New Orleans trip itinerary. You WILL NOT regret it! GO!
