My guide Val met us on time. He discussed houses we would be seeing.
Gave us important information about the area. He took us through the cemetery.
Told us some good restaurants to try.
Made us very happy to be walking around the garden district on such a beautiful day.
He mentioned he likes very much living in the garden district.
One of his favorite restaurants was commander palace, it is one of my favorites as well.
We had a great time on this tour. The architecture on these homes is amazing. We also got to see the homes of some famous people. The Garden District area is beautiful and a must see when visiting New Orleans.
The tour was great mainly because of Randy, our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw parts of Lafayette Cemetery as well as many fine homes in the Garden District. Especially memorable to me, a Colts fan, and my sister, a Broncos fan, was seeing the home in which Peyton Manning grew up!
