My wife and I went on the 6/6 8pm hellvision tour and it was great! I've lived in new Orleans before and even I learned some stuff! Our guide was energetic and led the group very well through the busy FQ.

Not Scary! Slow, long lectures and not many stops

The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans! The problem was the length of time the lectures went on at each stop. You can't make people stand at the same spot for 15-20 minutes at every stop and discuss the history of New Orleans. This was supposed to be an adults-only ("which we thought meant scary or terrorizing"), but it was mainly a history tour that had mentions of ghosts, voodoo and vampires. Plus, the groups were way too large... You can get all of the history and more, and enjoy it a lot more on the Haunted Pub Crawl tour from Ghost City Tours. (We don't work for them, but we did both of these tours on the same weekend)

HI Kelly, thanks for sharing your honest feedback and we're sorry that the tour didn't meet your expectations. Although we want to include as much depth in our stories as possible we agree that it's important to find a balance between that and the amount of time we spend at each spot so your input will be valuable in helping us do just that. To clarify about our adults-only policy, the reason for that is not due to the nature of the content but rather because many visitors to New Orleans prefer to enjoy experiences that don't include anyone underage in the group. As far as the group sizes, we do limit ours to 20 people max, which is considerably smaller than most tour companies in the French Quarter allow, and if you found yourself with any group smaller than ours you were just fortunate to catch them on a slow day for them. To be clear though, our tours are definitely not pub crawls and those who prefer that type of experience may not find our tours very satisfying.

Jeremy Trager was the best! If you’re booking a tour with Hottest Hell Tours you better hope and pray you get Jeremy! My sister and I did the VIP tour with him on Friday June 2nd. Jeremy has great charisma, he’s knowledgeable, funny, and has an amazing personality! I’ve told all my friends and family about him and this tour. I will definitely be booking another tour the next time I’m in New Orleans.

Easy meeting spot in front of the Armstrong Park and the check-in was really fast. Our tour guide Claire was so knowledgeable and very entertaining. The tour hit a lot of really great highlights throughout the city and had a nice break halfway through to get drinks and bathroom stops. If you are looking for a great historical and fun tour, definitely recommend this tour (and especially Claire)!
