This tour was awesome! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the swamp, pointed out different animals and plants, and of course we say A LOT of alligators, we even got to hold a baby one. We took some beautiful pictures and had a great time. We've been recommending to friends since we left!

Our tour guide was fantastic! He had his own alligator on board, which scared the day lights out of me! Feeding the alligators was the high lite for myself. I could of stayed there the entire day, funny as, I did not want to go because I was scared. Just goes to show you, have a knowledgable guide with just enough humour and a swamp filled with alligators, that is all it took!
Thank you again.
You will need a fund just for marshmallow, at the rate I was feeding them!

Fantastic few hours spent on the boat. The Tour guide was excellent although a bit difficult to understand his accent but it made it more exciting.

The swamp tour and bayou was a fabulous journey. The guide on the tour bus that took us to the swamp was humorous and provided us with lots of information on the way there. The boat operator/guide was amazing, I loved the fact that the boat was covered from the sun and we were able to walk around to the sides that provided the best views. Feeding the alligators was great fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing a much talked about environment.

This tour is a very enjoyable change from the sights of New Orleans. I would recommend this type of swamp tour as compared to a jet boat for older tourists and children. Our captain Anson was excellent and we all had a chance to feed the alligators and even hold one. The swamp area is beautiful and we saw other wildlife too. The alligators do hibernate between November to March so that would not the best time to take the tour.

Not only was this tour scenic, but highly entertaining. The guide was so much fun and really knew how to find the gators! We all had the opportunity to feed them, and we were able to hold a baby alligator. This was one of the highlights of our New Orleans trip!

Great way to get up close with the alligators. We took this tour at 8:45 and it wasn't too long before we had our first alligator sighting. There is an advantage to taking this boat over the high speed airboat as it allows the opportunity to stop and feed them marshmallows! However the highlight for me was getting the chance to hold a baby alligator for myself.

Absolutely gob smacked with the information and the understanding of Alligators and the swamps, our guide was so good, and knowledgeable, and also so respectable to the alligators and their existence... We saw so many gators it was an awesome day..

So-called the Slow Boat tour. Boat is covered so you are protected from too much sun or rain. The guide was very friendly. We got to feed the gators marshmallows from a stick. Our guide even had a surprise rescue baby gator that we got to hold. The Airboats that passed us by were very noisy and ruined an opportunity to see a twelve footer up close but other than that I highly recommend this tour.

The boat ride was fantastic and beyond our expectation. The captain Anson is very knowledgeable and passionate about his swamp. The alligator feeding is very exciting and fun. More, comparing with the airboat, this ride is quieter and more comfortable and you can walk around the deck.
