This is an excellent and very well put tour. The guide was excellent and knowledgeable. If you are visiting New Orleans for a few days this is definitely something worth the price of admission. Make sure to take your camera as you will be able to capture many great photos.
It was a beautiful day out on the water -we saw lots of birds, turtles and alligators! Our guide was very informative.
fun way to see the bayou, feed some gators and even hold one
Anazing day out. The boat trip through the swamp was fabulous, the captain was very informative and his quick wit was very entertaining. We fed the aligators with marshmallows, took loads of photos and videos. If we had the time during our stay we would have taken this tour again. Absolutely brillia
This was my third visit to New Orleans but first time on this tour. Wonderful relaxing tour. Got some great shots of alligator and white egret.
I loved this tour! It's definitely worth it, and you even get to hold a baby alligator! So cool.
A totally fun tour of the swamps! The guide was a local Cajun man with fun stories and super knowledgeable of the region. He knows how to call the alligators over and make it fun for all ages. The boat is covered as it can rain, and relatively quiet.
Enjoyable experience out on the bayous literally feeding the alligators, lots of them. Vastly experienced and knowledgeable boat captain and tour guide explains everything. Funny guy. Nice day out.
Great trip. Efficiently organized. captain was humorous and very knowledgeable. Importantly saw A LOT of alligators. All in all a trip definitely worth taking
We opted for the larger boat over the airboat because of the noise factor. Our narrator/guide/local expertise person, was amazing. He took us to obviously known places where we could see alligators and even had a teaching one - a baby - used in classrooms during the off season on board that we were able to hold. Thankfully, in September, there were not a lot of tourists crowding the boat which personalized our experience even more. We all got to feed the alligators, appreciate the ecology and environment of the area and appreciate the demeanor of an individual who was a casual expert, an experienced guide/driver and actually someone who LOVED what he was doing and enthusiastic to share his world with us.
Great trip. Pick up by bus from Steam Boat point and taken to Bayou, about 20 minutes away. Weather was sweltering hot so had a quick refreshment break at the gift store, The boat shoved off around various bayous looking for alligators. Many were found and the captain showed how to feed them with marshmallows on a stick. Great fun for the kids. With a bit of comic act made out The captain caught one!!
This was then shown to kids on how to handle and for photos to be taken. Adults joined in too. returned to start point was by the same bus which was bringing in the afternoon tour. Great Fun!
This was a great tour and a fun experience with nature. The captain was entertaining and informative.
This trip is a must when visiting New Orleans. We went on the boat ride the captain was excellent and very informative. My wife got to hold and feed alligators, amazing.
It was awesome! I've done the air boat tours when I was younger with no kids and had a blast. So now that I'm married with two small children I decided to try the bigger and slower moving boat. We saw turtles, birds, and of course plenty of gators. My
Wife and daughter loved it.
Awesome. Great way to see the Bayous and a lot of gators!!! Our guide was a local who was fantastic
This was a family trip, everyone had a great time from my 8 year old twins to my 78 year old mother in law!! So informative and entertaining, they want to go on more and this swamp tour was so much fun. Take cash for the snack store at the site, the air conditioned bus made the trip comfortable.
Such a great experience seeing a whole another part of Louisiana! Our Captain was funny, knowledgeable, and ensured we were safe and had a great experience. The bayou was more beautiful than I imagined, we saw plenty of alligators, got to feed them, and hold a baby one! Highly recommend this company. They are friendly, professional, and always keep your safety in mind first. So glad we did this tour!
Really fun trip. It is 40 minutes from the French Quarter by coach. The feed of the alligators was a fun experience, too.
Highly recommend this tour! So much fun. The bus ride to the swamp was quick. Our guide was fun and made the tour very fun.
This tour was amazing. At first I was a little apprehensive because I was alone and I don't do to well in water. But the ride was very smooth and our guide was very funny and informative. I was also able to hold a baby alligator something that I never thought that I would ever do. I had an awesome time
