Although not your typical tour of New Orleans, this 3-hour expedition through the Big Easy takes in some of the major points of interest, including the French Quarter, Treme, the Esplanade, the Garden District and the Metairie Cemetery. Relax in air-conditioned minibus comfort, and listen as a guide leads you through one of America's most historic cities.
Really loved hearing about the history of the areas we visited and seeing all the buildings. It was also good to hear about how the city has recovered since Hurricane Katrina. All in all it was a good tour and ws would recommend it.
My wife and I wanted 2 get a feel for the city’s neighborhoods and hot spots, and this tour was a great way 2 start our 3-day visit. The passion and love that our guide Gary has 4 the city was infectious. Really helped us understand the city and id cool things 4 the rest of our stay.
The driver/guide was very knowledgeable. Tour was full of information about the city, its history and its physical makeup. Information on Katrina was particularly interesting. Only negative was very late pickup at our hotel.
Justin was the most informed, intelligent, personable, and friendly tour guide. The biggest disadvantage of the tour is the observation of the multitude of sights that need to be explored individually, if one had almost unlimited time. It was a very enjoyable 3 hours and informational as well.
I really enjoy taking city tours everywhere I go - and it has to be from a local. Rick was great about pointing out how the town has changed and what to check out along the ride. The path was good but I would have liked an opportunity to make a short stop for pictures at Audabon Park
We took this tour on our very first day in New Orleans. Our tour guide was very patient and informative. He showed us all areas of town and gave us great information on restaurants and shopping. After the tour is over he even dropped us off at various places in town instead of taking us straight back to our hotel. This is a great tour to do at the beginning of your trip so that you can see all the different areas of downtown New Orleans.
