Amazing detailed history

Our tour guide Teri was such a fun and nice lady! She gave us a sheet of all her sources she referred to during the tour. I learned way more about above ground cemeteries than I thought I would! Would definitely recommend. Amazing photo opportunities too.
Informative Tour - Enjoyed more than I expected

Our first cemetery tour in New Orleans. It was around 45 minutes and we learned a lot. It is not very much walking and mainly standing by grave sights and hearing facts. There was an area with a mist going about 2/3 of the way into the tour which felt nice as it was extremely hot during our noon tour. We were able to take many pictures. I would go again.

We enjoyed the rich history and learning the burial process in New Orleans. Be sure to ask to see Nicholas Cage prepaid final resting place. This is sometimes forgotten.

Great tour by Lauren! Informative, interesting, and paced well. We were one of the smaller groups which we appreciated. Our friends did a longer tour (1.5 hour) with a different tour group. Our was 45+ minute and we don’t think you need anymore than that.

We took the tour with Angie from "Tours by Steve" and as we encountered other tour groups in the cemetery came to the conclusion that ours was the best. Informative and entertaining without going over the top.

The tour was a lot of information without being too long. Our guide was very knowledgeable and a fabulous storyteller. I highly recommend you take this tour to get interesting stories of New Orleans without any mystical spin.
Basic and not so detailed

Tour was average. The information the tour guide gave was fairly basic and not so detailed. It’s also extremely hot inside the cemetery, 10-20 degrees hotter than outside. An umbrella or parasol is recommend along with sunscreen. There are no trees or shade in the cemetery either so you’re directly under the sun the whole time. There are several other tour groups in the cemetery as well so it gets crowded at times and hard to get good pictures. Videos are not allowed. Only still photography. You’re only given a moment at each site due to the fact that several other tour groups are also waiting to see the same spots. Go when it’s not peak time.

Hello and thank you for your review, we would love to chat with you about your experience and find out how we could have made your experience better. With the heat in this city, unfortunately, we cannot control this so yes, its hot! Come in October or in April, perfect times to visit. Our tours have as much detail as we can fit into a 1 hour tour, come take a longer tour so that we can give you more information about our incredible city. Please call us so that we can talk real soon. Thanks again! Steven

Our tour guide Betsy, was prompt, energetic, and very down to earth. My wife and I were the only people in the tour for that time slot so we got to have all the attention. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience more personalized. Thanks again
