What To Expect

Start your visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a self-guided tour of the exhibitions and multimedia displays. The museum itself is located below the 9/11 Memorial, the reflecting pools that are the footprints of the Twin Towers that fell due to the devastating terrorist attack in 2001. 

With your timed admission, you have guaranteed entry to stay for as long as you want. It is suggested that you take at least two hours to wander the museum. This admission saves you time by giving you direct entry into the center with your mobile device. 

The museum also includes a pair of main exhibits: a memorial exhibition called In Memoriam, in honor of the people who lost their lives that day in 2001 as well as the people who were killed during the World Trade Center 1993 bombing. The second exhibition is September 11, 2001, a three-part exhibition that tells the tale of the day and analyzes motives for the attacks. It also shows the aftereffects of the attack and how the event changed the world, both locally and globally.

Was looking for more impact and emotional moving experience like the feeling I got when I went to the 911 memorial and museum in. NYC. I totally understand the need for a memorial, but I feel they should do more to honor ourPearl Harbor hers.

Very moving experience we must never forget how many innocent lives lost. Organized very well, no long queues when we attended however you would need waterproofs and an umbrella if the weather is wet. I suggest early visit as it was getting very busy as we left.

You have to book a time but then they don't even let you in there you waiting a long morning to get in it took us over an hour to get in for a 5:30 appointment and we weren't in there till 6:15 and we weren't allowed to get in line until 5:15. If it's such a long line to get in and you made an appointment why can't we just stand in line when we get there so we can get in and have enough time. The problem was once we got in there it closed at 6:30 so then they're pushing people through hurry up and see hurry up and see we're closing in 30 minutes. Very unsatisfactory that part. The exhibit was amazing. It was well crafted. But as far as the purchasing of the ticket to walk through that needs to organized that was terrible. That's not something you want to rush through.
