Our tour guide did a terrific job of giving us a great overview of the 911 Memorial Complex. His personal experience and memories of actually being only a few miles away from Ground Zero when the attacks happened was particularly poignant. Excellent!

By far the best tour we took in 6 days in New York. Our guide, Chris, was well prepared, knowledgeable, and very informative. As a New Yorker who lived in the area at the time of the attack, he provided a unique prospective and first-hand information that could not be learned by reading a script. If you only have time for one tour in NY, this is the one to take. You can't get the insight and information in a self-guided or audio tour, it takes someone who was there to bring the tour in focus.

I went to the site by myself when i first got to New York and then decided to go back and dot his tour and boy did i miss out on a lot. Very thankful i did this tour to be so more well informed. Richard was also very knowledgeable about all things New York and what else to see. Great to get a New Yorkers opinion and not just what google suggest.

Richard is an excellent guide! He shared information and showed us sites that we wouldn’t have known on our own. He helped put into perspective and provided a great introduction to the museum exhibit. Our group of 7 included 3 teenagers and Richard kept them engaged! Thanks for the amazing experience! This was the best activity we did during this trip!

Unfortunately, despite arriving at the meeting point at the designated time there was no sign of the Thermo Sage guide for our tour. We were subsequently informed that the guide had left the meeting point early. A very disappointing experience which luckily did not spoil our holiday.

An incredibly fascinating but emotional experience. The history of this terrible act of terrorism was bought to life in an authentic way by our amazing tour guide Richard . His delivery of the history from someone who experienced it first hand was delivered with passion , empathy and an emotional realism . The site brings it’s own sense of appropriate remembrance and reflection but Richard just made the experience so much more powerful and allowed us to understand a little more how this terrible event affected the people and families of New York then and is still impacting today .

To me, the on ground decisions and actions of The Dragon Firefighter crew. I loved how Richard appeared to be excited to share his knowledge of the Dragon Crew with us. He spoke VERY clearly and even though I am hard of hearing I understood every word. I can’t imagine a better Tour Guide for this 9/11 event than Richard and would actually try to use him again if we came back to NYC.
