Meet your guide in Midtown Manhattan and then cruise in a comfortable van through the Lincoln Tunnel to New Jersey. Reach Weehawken and see the spot where Alexander Hamilton, one of the founders of the United States, was killed in a duel by Aaron Burr, then Vice President of the United States. Stop at a scenic lookout where you can get a great view of the Manhattan skyline and note the glimmering lights across the river.
Learn about the history and culture of the area from your guide and enjoy viewing New York from a totally different perspective. Next stop by Hoboken, the historic home of singer Frank Sinatra and the spot where, in 1846, the first baseball game was played (by the Knickerbocker Club of New York). Relax in a local tavern for a drink and some tasty appetizers and then board the New York Waterway ferry (ticket included) at Port Imperial Ferry station to navigate across the wide Hudson River, the new World Trade Center towering in the distance.
Proceed east, crossing the East River along the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn for the last stop of the tour, the Brooklyn Bridge. Admire the illuminated skyline from the Brooklyn Promenade. Then return to Midtown Manhattan.
