Don't visit NY unless you do this tour. It really gave you a clearer picture of that horrific day and how resilient we really are. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. So much to see and such a beautiful tribute to the fallen.

It took us a very long time to decide to visit the 9/11 memorial as the memory of that day is still vivid for both myself and my husband. With that said I didn't just want to visit I wanted to take a formal tour and hear the perspective of others and with Dan we could not have had a better tour guide. Dan was amazing His love of New York's History as well as his passion and compassion of September 11, made the experience one we will not soon forget. Thank you Dan and Viator for an amazing day.

Our guide was amazing. Tauren, a native New Yorker who held us all spellbound with her descriptions and information. Even though it was a freezing cold day, the 90 minutes flew by.

Great tour. Amy, our tour guide, had a lot of information to share. The memorial is beautiful The view from One World Observatory was great. The guided part of this tour is only about an hour and a half then you tour the rest on your own, The tour guide isn't allowed in the museum but the museum has tours of its own. We will definitely be going back to the museum and memorial.

A must for any visitors to New York, Educational and moving. Our guide, John made the first element of the tour compelling and provided a moving insight into what was a momentous day in modern history.

Our tour guide Tauren was absolutely fabulous! So knowledgeable and personable, she really made it seem through her experiences that we were there that terrible day. The museum is absolutely a solemn experience with so many interesting photos, recordings, videos, artifacts and articles left behind/found in the rubble.

I swore to myself prior to this visit that I would never enter the One World Trade Center Observatory, but once Tauren explained the building differences between the twin towers and the new tower, I felt safe. The 47 second elevator ride to the top of the 102nd floor showing a video with the growth of NYC was amazing.

An amazing tour .No words can describe the feelings and emotions you feel when being apart of this tour.
Our tour guide Daniel was wonderful, very informative and thoughtful.
The Museum was incredible to walk through...Sad and heart wrenching, but an experience that will never be forgetten.
If there is only one thing that you can do while in New York, it has to be this tour.

We thought our guide Tony was amazing. I have recommended Viator to my friends. The best way to see ground zero is with a guide that was there on September 11th. Never forget!

I was skeptical about re-living the experience of 911- but it was truly an educational - and emotional- visit. Our tour guide, Daniel M., was amazing and I would love to take the trip again with him! We started at St. Paul's Chapel- and Daniel walked and talked us through every step of its history, and the significance to the actual day of the bombing, and the Chapel's use for the weeks and months following. We then proceeded to the Memorial. It was a very cold day and because it was also windy, the waterfalls were not all activated -as he predicted - but the site was truly awesome and overwhelming in its magnitude and grace. To see and hear about the details of the construction, and the thought given to the memorial plaques was almost beyond comprehension. Each name/plaque was strategically placed near friends and coworkers- can you imagine the research done for this??? Each one is back lit so they can be seen at night, and they are also heated so that ice and snow cannot cover them. We strolled around the grove of newly planted oak trees surrounding the area that were planted and planned to eventually create a beautiful canopy over the area- inspiring. We stopped to reflect by the Survivor Tree a unique story itself. All I could think was who had the foresight to save and then replant a single tree found in the rubble ??? And survive it has!
There were so many personal stories that Daniel shared about his experience of leaving NYC and then returning after 15 years to confront the past. I hope that he continues to have the mental and emotional strength to continue in this endeavor of bringing the past to life so that we may never forget.....Thank you for sharing with all of us!

A tour not to be missed. Our guide, Amy, was very informative. She gave us her own personal account of the day of the atrocious happenings of 9/11. The museum, though very emotional, is very well done. The Observation deck on top of the Freedom Tower is a fantastic experience.

The tour we experienced was great and we would highly recommend this company. Ray was our tour guide and if we go back we will make a special request to only have Ray as our guide because he was so good and personal to everyone on the trip.

Ray was FABULOUS! What a touching and moving experience. Truly one of the best tours I have ever been on. Many personal accounts and stories. The guide was the key to this tour. What a great tribute to those whose lives were lost and impacted by this tragedy. Musuem, memorial, the Church all of it was very well done and worth the time and money. Would highly recommend it!

Of course this is a must when traveling to NYC. Make sure you buy tickets ahead of time as the line getting in the museum can get long and you do have to wait. Because we purchased a walking tour with a guide, we were able to go ahead of those that didn't.

Very well organized and tasteful tour of Ground Zero. The guide, Michelle, did a great job sharing her personal experience and giving information and her perspective about the site and the historic events.

Tony was a fantastic tour guide. He's very informative and has personal experience from 911. Great walking tour of the church and fire station and neighborhood around ground zero. It ends at the reflecting pools area then you enter the museum on your own and tour it at your own pace. Then you go over to the one world observatory at your set time and tour that.
