What To Expect

When the weather is fair, there’s no better way to see the sites of New York City’s Central Park than from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage.

Easily meet your driver, and horse, in Central Park. If you like you can give your horse a little treat (carrots provided). Then you’ll be on your way.

Your driver will give you loads of information about the places you pass by, including insider information that you wouldn’t get in a guidebook.

Some of the places you’ll pass by are the Wollman Rink, Balto Statue, Loeb Boathouse, Cherry Hill, and much more. There will be plenty of photo stops along the way.

Also, if it’s a tad chilly, you can use blankets provided in your carriage.

The driver was knowledgeable and made stops for pictures. He was nice. He gave us a blanket and a candy for each. He also got off and took an amazing picture of our family trip.

We were not able to do the carriage ride because there was a mistake made while booking and the provider would not reschedule us. The ride was inadvertently booked for 11:59 pm instead of am. When we contacted thr provider he was rude and said he was busy with customers who didn't make a mistake with their booking time. When we arrived at 11:30 am, there were multiple carriages waiting around doing nothing but we could not be assisted. It made no sense. Turns out, after talking to other carriage drivers, the horses aren't even there after 11 pm so why would the platform even allow someone to book outside of the hours when the horses are available? The guy's name was Oscar and he was a complete jerk. I want me $233.00 back!

The guide was not the most enthusiastic or warm. Perhaps he was having an off night? Other drivers appeared to be much more engaged with their customers. It was disappointing, we had planned this experience for 7 years.

Awful No lights on at night Freezing cold . Not comfortable. Have done this trip 100 times in past and this was worst time we had. It changed a lot and was way over priced

When we arrived we were told to wait here, someone showed us where and they would come get us when they were ready. Well, we were greeted with “I texted you, I guess you do not ever look at your phone”, this was rude. The man the rushed us on to the carriage. He hardly said anything throughout the ride, did not tell us much about when we were looking at or the history of the park, things that have taken place at. He also stopped the ride at one point, got off and talked with another man for about 5 minutes. When the ride was over it had only been 30 minutes. I paid for a 50 minute ride when I booked our reservation. When I asked the man about it he said it was 40 minutes, which was a lie. My reservation said 50 and was only got 30. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.
