My college-aged daughter and I enjoyed this behind-the-storefront tour. Our guide, Melanie, whisked us from place to place with enthisiasm and interest. She included a couple of extra stops that she thought we would like. The really high end clothes were out of our price range but it was still great to see them and others tried them on. We took advantage of great shopping deals and trending fashions at comparably midwestern prices. Very glad we did it!
This tour was very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who likes to shop for clothing. While I only bought a sweater one of the 4 ladies on the tour was a cute little blonde who looked good in everything. So it was fun judging what she tried on.
Tour was fun, informative, and added to my and my grandaughters closets. Keve was great guide on tour and as native New Yorker knowledgeable about the city. Highlight was meeting designer Elizabeth Gilette who graciously shared her love of fabric and beautifully designed scarves.
Our tour guide, Natalie was wonderful. She enjoyed fashion and was able to share little tidbits about the city and fashion industry along the way. There's a good bit of walking, but it is to be expected for the serious shopper. Nice range of purchase items from high end fur to jewelry to casual and business wear. If you are on the smaller size, say a size 2, 4 or 6 you can get GREAT deals from shopping the sample sales. This is my second tour, but it won't be my last.
This was a great tour. We were able to visit designer showrooms and purchase clothing and accessories at up to 50 off retail pricing. Many of the brands can be found in Neiman Marcus, Macy's etc. Our guide was very passionate about fashion which made it all the more fun. I highly recommend this tour.
Lots of fun!
This was an excellent tour with access to some designer gems. My only regret was that my suitcase was not bigger. I was on such I high , I forgot to tip the guide - who was fabulous too.
Natalie was an outstanding guide answering questions and providing a fun and informative experience. Would love to do it again!
Fabulous shopping tour of the Garment District. Our guide, Keve, was knowledgeable and personable and fun to be with. I can't recommend this highly enough.
We were very happy with the variety of showrooms on the tour, and each of us found something to buy, even my 10 year old granddaughter. Jacque was well-organised, informative and took the trouble to arrange for us to recover an item left behind in one of the showrooms.
