1 star rating: I do not recommend this April 2018

We went with 4 children aged 5,7,7,and 9 yrs old. Our kids LOVE science and reading and were so excited to be seeing the fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs and animals they had been reading about. Our guide was not as intuitive or interactive with the children as I would have expected. The children were slouching , figity and gave many cues that they were not being stimulated enough bored - the questions the guide asked were too basic and I would have liked our guide to try to gauge the knowledge of the children better. The guide seemed to have a set agenda and was a bit vague on many aspects - reading the signs to the children rather than asking them open ended questions like what do you see ? Tell me what you think? The kids had much more fun exploring on their own with a parent to guide them. Our guide also had poor hearing in the noisy environment which meant she sometimes missed hearing the kids questions , and I had to prompt her by repeating the kids questions myself. I never give reviews but I felt I had to in this case as it was a lot of money to spend.
